You know what? Fuck you. *nicknames and longnames your BMC characters*

Jeremy: His full name is canonically Jeremiah, but no one calls him that. In fact, he’d be surprised if anyone even knew. He’s also called Jer, affectionately by Michael and by anyone else who can’t be bothered to add two more syllables.

Michael: Just Michael, and not a Michael of many nicknames, either. One of his moms will use Micha, which made its way into Jeremy’s vocabulary as well. Rich calls him Mikey, no one calls him Mike.

Rich: Richard, again, canonically. But he’s Rich to pretty much everyone, maybe Richie to his grandparents but never Ricky. Only call him Dick if you want to get smacked.

Jake: I like to think his full name is Jacob, but that’s a name for someone a little more sophisticated. So he’s always just been Jake. Jakey to Rich and possibly Chloe.

Christine: Just Christine. Nicknames never really fit her. Not Chris, sometimes Chrissy when she and Jeremy were dating, but she’s always owned her full name wholeheartedly.

Brooke: Maybe Brooklyn, but I can also see her making that up for the ✨aesthetic✨.

Chloe: Just Chloe. But she secretly always thought Val (shortening Valentine) would be the coolest nickname ever.

Jenna: Gennavive. Because that’s cool. But like Jeremy, she’d be shocked if anyone actually knew. And not Jen. Or Jenny. Nicknames just don’t seem to fit her.
