Phil Manfredo draws on years of experience as an IT professional to serve as a senior project manager at TelePlus Healthcare. Objectives of CompTIA A+ Certification

Phil Manfredo is an IT specialist based in New Jersey whose career has entailed various dynamic information technology roles in different companies. A computer information systems graduate from Rider University, he is the project manager at TelePlus Healthcare, where he’s responsible for the implementation of telehealth programs across multiple medical facilities. Phil Manfredo is a CompTIA A+ certified professional. CompTIA A+ (Computer Technology Industry Association) is an industry standard used to validate the core skills required by today’s computer support professionals. CompTIA A+ certified professionals are considered proven problem solvers given their critical role in supporting today’s core technologies, which range from data security to cloud management systems, among others. In today’s digital world, CompTIA A+ certified experts are trusted by employers across the globe as the go-to person for various management and technical support roles. Candidates are required to pass two exams, Core 1 (220-1001) and Core 2 (220-1002). These tests cover various key skills such as configuring device operating systems including Windows, Max, Chrome OS, and Linux, and troubleshooting and solving problems using the best practices for documentation, scripting and change management. They are also tasked to support basic IT infrastructure and networking, configure features for Android and Apple iOS mobile operating systems, and implement data backup and recovery methods and secure PCs, among other responsibilities. In addition, CompTIA trains students on preventive maintenance as well as customer service and communication skills needed to work effectively with clients.
