Error!
I declare an error! (This is in Goblet of Fire.) A bezoar is an object that is in itself something of a panacea antidote (will save you from most poisons, according to Snape In Sorcerer's Stone). In Half-Blood Prince, the same definition holds, as Harry grabs a single bezoar and presents it to Slughorn in lieu of brewing an antidotal potion. Then later it's the same single bezoar that Harry gives Ron when he drinks the poisoned mead.
Considering this information, a bezoar is not a potion ingredient. It's just a thing. Stand alone.

Just for some background info:
Call me Laur.
I’m a freelance author and artist. I have one published book under my belt.
I’m medically complex/chronically ill and use a feeding tube and a power wheelchair.
I’m a college grad with a degree in Communication and Journalism. I also have a lot of experience in anthropology.
I’m a Gryffindor.
I have a Whirlwood Forest wand with a core of red jasper crystals.
Jim Dale was the most involved parental figure during my growing up. I listened to the Potter audiobooks on cassette tapes every day and at night on my way to sleep between ages 8 and 21. I’ve just pulled out my dusty CD binder and started bedtime listening again. (I’m 30).
I enjoy rambling, proving my point several times over, using an excess of semicolons and parenthetical phrases, and pondering tiny inconsistencies that might be plot holes.

This a place I share analyses, headcanons, what-ifs, cross connections, and opinion pieces relating to Harry Potter and the greater wizarding world. I’m a 1st generation Potter fan; I read the books as they were released (in the US).
I heartily disagree with and disengage myself from the author in real-world and political realms, but I do respect her creative mind. I analyze the information she’s laid out to form the fandom, and sometimes that involves praise or rebuttal.
Most of this will be banal chatter long and short, so read what you like, skip over what you don’t, comment if you want, but if you’re hateful, please leave the building.
