whenever i think about smilks hands i think about the hands of older people who sew or constantly draw and how the skin bunches up at the knuckles, and i think of the literal hundreds of times they've bent them to create. so when i think of shadow milk's and how he sews literal hundreds of dolls and has drawn thousands of faces on puppets i think about how they r deft and long and how the creases in his hands might carry those memories even if he himself may not be a sentimental person
