I made it with PSDK, a pretty cool open-source engine I’ve also contributed to!

The underwater effect and dynamic fog… yup, those shaders on the map are my idea… though I didn’t do the system alone in the end hahaha, got some help from a senior dev on the project. That was quite the side quest.

But then this stubborn and overly enthusiastic idiot, who exuded an energy I'm most allergic to, crashed right through my door.

She is indeed different from me - while I rebelliously declare to the world that it'll never change me, she stubbornly seeks validation within the rules set by others.

But she is indeed similar to me - we're both trying to tell the world that even if some things are destined, we'll never submit to them.

I think we complement each other. While I live contentedly in the little world I've created for myself, she insists on carving a new path with her own hands in that less-than-ideal world.

However, humans can never have dreams that are impossible to realize - her struggles and discontent, her insecurity and pride, are what make that idiot endearing in my eyes.

One note on the lore: the Star of Eden actually isn’t using the Void core, it’s the Herrscher of Earth’s core (which was actually dubbed the Herrscher of Stars in the current era so I guess it circled back). Its original name was Cosmic Harmony; it took the name Star of Eden after the Flame-Chaser Eden started using it to its full potential.

The core of the previous Herrscher of the Void was used in a train called Cosmic Juggernaut, so I can see where there can be confusion.

If u don't mind me asking, how long did the second eruption go on for? I reread the 2nd eruption manga and stumbled upon a log data in chap 29 which says 1220 hrs have passed since Sirin awakened and waged war on humanity. 1220 hrs is roughly 50 days which is like 7 weeks if I'm not wrong and if that's just chap 29 and the manga has like 64 chaps js how long did the second eruption lasted?

I feel like it was only a few days, maybe that’s a typo? Not a 2E expert but some other folks on tumblr are

@blood-orange-juice it was a joke because the end of ER and the subsequent Moon arc were not super good. The arc after those though, Salt Snow Holy City, was awesome… so I’m glad I didn’t stop there haha.
