Hades, mighty king, you are the light that never fades, the steady flame that warms my bones

you are the lighthouse that keeps me from drowning in the sea of grief and leads me back home

I find you in the quiet, dark places. I find you when I lose my footing. i find you when I cannot bear to go on another moment

you are my light. 

to you I pray, the consoler, help me to stand against that which hurts my heart. help me to stand against that which haunts me.

To put it simply,

Godspousing is basically where an deity offers spousal to you. Be it parental, devotee, romantic, working, etc.

The practice itself has been around for thousands of years, though to the best of my knowledge, not much literature is on the subject.

I feel that this might be something the Catholics might’ve adopted into their own practices due to various reasons.

But yes, Godspousing is a very real thing. I recommend knowing the myths, the deity, pantheon before jumping into spousal of any type. It’ll help in the long run on many points.

It’s been a while since I posted anything.

It has been a trip emotionally on me. My child needed to go in patient for a little while and the stress of that and other things caused me to spilt more… albeit I am fine overall.

I am still working on what needs to be worked on. Talking to the therapist and preparing myself to see the psychiatrist soon. The therapist does agree with me with my having DID. So this a step in the right direction.

I have supportive friends and family and my tribe. Just as I to have the support from my spouses Loki and Anpu. And news!!! Lady Hel offered spousal! I have accepted. We are officially courting.
