burn your music onto cds

use unroll.me to clean your email inboxes

I’ve always hated the “ever heard of character development?” Argument to musa getting pushed more and more feminine as the seasons went on.

1. It wasn’t character development. That’s implying there was an arc where she explored her style that simply never happened.

In fact the winx clubs fashion style gets more and more separate from their stories and personalities with every season. In both civilian and transformation outfits. To the degree of literally becoming uniforms.

2. You’d never accept the reverse. If let’s say Stella suddenly stopped presenting femininely and was just made extremely masculine out of nowhere with zero arc to support it and only got more and more so over time, not only would you notice but you’d never stop complaining about it.

Nor would rainbow ever have done the reverse. Because it wasn’t about telling a story with a character. It was about making a character more marketable. Easier to sell to a mass audience.

Musa being girly girled up and losing her tomboyish side was one of the first signs of winx losing itself.

They would’ve done it to tecna too (and they did to a lesser degree) if they felt they could get away with it.
