My new project with the stop lights from the old Ford Truck Series D. It's a work in progress and I might need better quality lights.

On our way back from Cornwall the Cobra started making this vibration when turning right. After the normal long time investigating I found out it was a bad bearing. Not a difficult job and quite rewarding in the end.

I have done another design based on my Cornwall experience. It's very simple but I am happy with it.

This is a vaccum shift modulator and was the solution to the lack of vaccum problem I had after changing from single carburettor to the triple carburettor setup.

I found and bought a new old stock thermostat housing in absolute perfect condition. Not sure when I will find the confidence to touch the cooling system by myself but I am hoping to change it and add an expansion tank.

It has been a while since I post here. And I can’t believe the last post was still during my holiday in Cornwall. Well... I loved to spend my holiday again in Cadgwith and I am already planning to go again this year! I will need to go to Portugal somewhere in time. But, I will surely miss this little corner of the world.  I made this video and some tuff conditions. While trying to enjoy time off work with my wife; On board a small fishing boat; On a car cradle and microphones I never used before; All sorts of why that heck am I filming instead of enjoying the moment, sort of stuff. Anyway, here is the video and I hope everyone enjoys it.

I had to replace a couple of exhaust gaskets. So, I did it the first morning and let the paste cure for a few hours.

After arriving Cagdwith, we went to Carleon Cove, which is a beach at walking distance from the house. This year we decided to stay more local, instead of driving. Like we did last year. The weather was simply amazing. Luke came around and brought us an absolutely gorgeous sea bass for dinner.

Our first stop, on the way to Cornwall, was in Pensford. A rural village near Bristol, which had Swallows flying and feeding their babies. In the evening, we had a pleasent dinner at The Malago, in Bristol.

The first day was a bit of a disaster. On top of road closures on the motorway, a lorry was cought on fire. This made the entire motorway traffic to divert to countryside lanes, which quickly came to total gridlock. The Cobra wasn't happy and for the first time, we had to push it to the side of the road and give him some attention. In the end was just fatigue. He took us to our first destination near Bristol. In conclusion, it took us more time to get to Bristol, than to drive the all way down to Cornwall, in one go. Being on the road can be very unpredictable and sometimes even challenging. The only thing we can do is being as prepared as possible.

We have decided this year’s itinerary. And, instead of driving all the way down to Cornwall. We will drive towards Bristol. Spend the night there. Then, drive the rest of the way in the morning, next day. On the way back, we will spent the night near Glastonbury. And, in the morning. Drive the rest of the way back home.
