I have a four day holiday in The Netherlands coming up. I fly into Amsterdam and need to be in Rijswijk by 5pm on fourth day. Any ideas what I should do? I was thinking two nights in Amsterdam and one night elsewhere. Does this seem about right?

My favourite word so far is a word I learnt from Jake And The Never Land Pirates and is handschoenen (which I think means gloves). I had to use Google translate to confirm my guess at what it meant and may have misheard so could be wrong. It is interesting to see this break down as I know some of the compound words but nearly none of the component words.

So Barack Obama got an article published in Science magazine. That is one of the top science journals (along with Nature) where all the really important research is published. It has an Impact factor of 34.661. In context PRL (Physical Review Letters) has an impact factor of 7.645.

His staff?!
I had the very same reaction, @piece-of-grit , but it makes sense with the type of house he has. It’s huge, so he needs people to tend to it – cleaning it, doing all the work outside etc.

In their new series, Prowse impersonates Clegg’s successor Tim Farron, visiting shops and asking for freebies: “Nobody knows what Tim Farron looks like so I got free coffees and a free jacket,” Prowse says.

It sort of reminds me of http://www.tcm.com/mediaroom/video/1169298/Sabrina-Movie-Clip-A-Small-Girl-On-A-Large-Estate.html. However, I think (a) having staff is more common in the US than in Europe and (b) you are right with such a big house he probably does need staff.
