i know half of camp bullies her everyday when percy’s at school during the year and she’s sat at that jank ass computer in the big house exchanging emails

like OBSESSED there isn’t a world where they aren’t together and they truly are like romeo and juliet taking bullets for eachother they simply just refuse to die

also idk why but i keep seeing ppl talking abt if annabeth had fallen into tartarus without percy and i genuinely don’t think there’s a universe where he would’ve allowed that to happen and he would’ve gone ape shit fighting whoever to jump down that hole to go with her

same with annabeth but i think it would’ve been easier for them to like chain her to the argo in comparison to percy but she would’ve actually hurt people trying to help him

So, it is my personal headcanon that Percy is good with his hands.

Like he mentions in Sea of Monsters that he changes the oil in his mom’s car. In the original series at least, he mentions spending time in the forge with both Tyson and Beckendorf, and it wouldn’t surprise me if he picked up some stuff from them. I wouldn’t be surprised if one of his powers turns out to be the skills and knowledge needed to build, maintain, and repair most, if not all, boats and ships.

Do I think he has, like, child of Hephaestus or Cyclopean level skills? No.

Do I think he knows how to use power tools, can manage basic car repairs, fix his own plumbing, and has some basic carpentry skills? Yes.

All of this is to say, I think if Annabeth wanted a loom, he’d build one for her. If Grover’s panpipes broke, he’d do his best to fix them (though Percy would probably tell him to take them to the Apollo kids for tuning). I bet he still changes Sally’s oil and he probably would have tried to fix the dents Blackjack left in the hood of Paul’s car if Paul hadn’t gotten to it first. You can’t tell me that he doesn’t still love spending time with Tyson in the forge.

I think Percy’s good with his hands, and he uses that to take care of his family.
