Their a closeted cat who, through religion and his father, was made to believe that fraternizing with a tom was against star clans ways.

His father blinded in in his rigth eye when he found his son sun bathing with a Tom. (Prickle was an apprentice at this time) and as “star clans punishment” blinded him, giving him only one eye.

He’s in love with a younger Tom named Beetle’Step

But not knowing how to handle these emotions he usally fights with beetle for how his ways are wrong and how beetle will make StarClan upset
