the funniest family story of mine is that my parents as teenagers, long before they knew each other, both had cats called kishka who they both insisted means cat in russian. my dad whatever, but my mom had every reason to know better. we have close litvak relatives

have i ever posted abt that time my roommate was a gay trans Christian and when I said no I dont care that his UU church ""respects all faiths"" its still Christian, he then proceeded to drive past a messianic ""judaism"" church and tell me i should go there. when I was literally already a member of an actual shul

living in "progressive" areas is always so funny, pastors will slide up to your clockable ass in public and be like "man isnt it fucked up how evil most christians are to you? im not im good. we're trustworthy. we've got a church nearby you can go to" and all the churches got lgbt flags flying outside and shit. who are u fooling bro? \*looks at all the lgbt christians ive seen and met* oh. oh you're fooling a lot of people.
