one time when i was specializing in whales a guy came in and asked where the whales were right that instant (southern resident killer whales could be anywhere between alaska and california at any given moment) and as soon as i started explaining that he loudly interrupted "I'LL GO ASK A MAN" and stormed off to one of my employees and from a distance i watched him ask the same question and then the employee point back at me.

ummmm re: names

easy classic plant-y names like: ivy, rose/rosemary, olive/oliver, holly... herbert with herb for short... rowan, sage... cherry or u could use sherry instead... clementine or clover... hazel or heather. dahlia or iris... juniper...

slightly more uncommon but not super out there nature-y names: aster, briar, cosmo, camellia... blossom is fun makes me think of the powerpuff girl

u probably already considered april / may / june / august (or maybe augustus) but umm if u havent there u go. autumn or summer work too

marigold (a liiiittle more out there maybe but easily nickname-able)

shelly/shelby (not necessarily plant related but makes me think seashells if thats your thing)

sunflower/sunny

flo/flow (short for florence or flower or flora or whatever u want)

ash like the tree. could be short for ashley thats a good gender neutral one if that influences ur choice

unrelated but looking up and thinking about names made me realise theres more ace attorney characters with nature-y(??) names than i thought. like not that terribly many but if i had a nickel (ect.) hope u find a good name for urself soon!!! p.s. dont know if itd be up your alley but i like the name icarus and it does already make me think of u
