Day 1 PIIT28
So today (Tuesday 28th March) was day one of the PIIT28 training. 28 days of training. 6 days on, one day off. Repeated until 28 days are up. Im 9st 4lbs. 5ft 3. Its worth mentioning here that I am also following Weight Watchers alongside this program. GOALS: Weight: 8st 5lbs HOWEVER, This journey isnt really all about weight. Its mainly about looking well, not feeling bloated and becoming more toned. The scales can read whatever but ultimately my goal is to look good in a bikini by May/June. I want to look less like a plate of jelly and more toned and defined. 2 months to achieve this. Fingers crossed. So i log in and start the warm up. Water ready and using my phone to see how easy it is to do. The Warm Up. Omg! That is one effective warm up! Jeez! I tell you what, trying to do a warm up whilst toddler dodging is, in my opinion, an art form in itself! Certainly giving myself extra points for that! Little bit shocked that im out of breath though. Little bit more scared that ive now got a workout to do. Haha. (Nervous laugh) The workout. Abomination! Yes, you read that right! Its called ABOMINATION! Totally reassuring. If you're psycho. So i begin. The videos are great. You get a demo of how to correctly perform each move first all at the start. Then you perform the workout. So there i am, toddler dodging my way through this Abomination, quite literally and i must admit i struggle in places. I REALLY struggle in other places but i manage to keep up pace and keep going. Finally after we have gone through the whole sequence we are done. Yayyyyy go me!!!! And then i spot it. In black and white, clear as day. The words NOW REPEAT THIS UNTIL YOUVE DONE IT 4 TIMES OVER!! Im sorry, what?!?!? Hang on a minute you mean we arent done? Im in a heap on the floor totally done in and ive still got 3 round to go? You have got to be kidding me. So i remove the toddler from me (who decided that i was to exhausted to protest at him laying all over me and i looked like a cushion, cant blame him) and replayed the video, completing the sequence for the second time. By the end of the third round i was convinced i had paid out 32 pounds to be tortured in my own home and despite all internet safety warnings i had fell victim to online abuse. This. Was. Torture. BUT I LIKED IT??!!! i dragged my butt through the forth round and i can tell you now it was not pretty. My muscles were shaky and i felt like a hippo who had just decided to take up kung fu. Or wait, wasnt that a panda? I had come this far. I decided that quite literally i had to do a warm down or i will be unable to walk the next day and there is a fantastic bonus of flexy available to do after that really helps stretch out your muscles and relax you. This is much how i predicted the workout to be. How wrong i was. I must say that afterwards i really did feel amazing. I was weak but in a good way! The program promises to make you love your workout, ive never loved a workout but i can actually see how addictive this could be! Looking forward to day 2 already!

Day 1 PIIT28 (Pilates Intense Interval Training)
So, where to start. Im a mum to two boys aged 2 and 3. Im a stay at home mum with a new business venture in the near future….(ill come to that another time soon.) I have a partner who works very hard and also goes to the gym 3-4 times a week. I have been pole dancing for just over 2 years but I only get a chance once a week. So that, in brief is me and my life.
My friend Carly is one of those girls that, if something is new out, amazing, trending or you need to know about something then shes your girl. SHE WILL KNOW you know? (I know, very handy isnt she!) So i said to her that I had seen some pics she had uploaded of herself recently and that im seriously jealous HOW DOES SHE LOOK SOOOO GOOD! I said I only get to do pole dancing once a week for fitness (no, im not a stripper and yes you can pole dance for fitness, its actually great for fitness) Anyway, she said have I tried PIIT28? Obviously being a total cardio phobe I had not tried anything of the sort. She explained it was similar to HIIT Training which she had actually told me about the month before and the cardio was a red flag for me! BUT this was PILATES I liked the sound of that. Especially since the flexibility training was a great companion for my Pole Dancing progression. Win win.
So naturally i spend a good few days logging into the PIIT28 website, reading it, googling genuine success storires and feeling amazed by the before and after photos. Im a sucker for advertising and my mum has always called me an advertisers dream 😂
So there I was, suitably amazed at the transformations, very intrigued about the program and then I realise its 28 MINUTES A DAY! THATS IT! Well that for me is beyond perfect. I honestly do not have time for a 15 minute warm up, an hour of cardiac arrest (sorry i mean cario) and then 15 mins warm down. I just do not have 90 mins spare consecutively a day. But 28 mins? Yes! So im doing my usual, feeling pumped about this and praying that its affordable.
It was £32!!! Not monthly, no! Just 32 pounds membership! FOR LIFE! (For PIIT28 0.1)
There are other memberships available which include a full nutrition program to help you cleanse and get maximum results. Adaptable to vegan too and there are various ways to purchase different packages but in all honesty, when you think about how much that gym membership costs per month you really cant compete with this!
So PIIT28 requires ZERO equipment. Well, a gym mat but even that could be a towel until you’re ready to get one. (For floor work only ) You can download the program or login each day so no messing around with a DVD player! I did day one by watching it all on my phone! Result!
So I decided that my most effective time to work out is straight after the school run. I drop my eldest to playschool and im home by 9:05am. I do however still have my youngest. Lucky for me hes actually the easiest. (Haha in sarcastic tone) That said, he was very intrigued by me coming home and moving the lounge around to make space, deciding it was for his benefit…….
So the first day I spent a little extra time signing up and learning about the website and navigating around it.
I got my water ready and put on my leggings (so attractive. Not.) Shut the curtains obvs, dont want to horrify any neighbours. Clicked on the warm up and begun………..TBC!!!!
