Heya, Naff! Sorry for the radio silence. Life’s been both up and down and a lot of things are mostly a torrent of stress and uncertainty, but hoping it’ll steady someway, somehow.

Very sweet of you to check up though! I hope things are settling for you also with what you had to deal with recently. I’m sorry about all that stress 🫂❤️

On a more positive note, I’ve finally been able to get back to reading some again! (currently finished Garden of Garlic and am slowly working my way through Apex Polarity ^^)

I’ve also caught little glimpses of the tropical naga version of Apex Polarity. Gonna let you know I love me some good danger noodles and the moment you start writing any naga fics, I’ll be grabbing them and running off into the woods like a gremlin >:]

After a fun Halloween party, Pyxie finds herself lost in the woods. She trips and injures herself, worry is close if they can get home safe. Then two forest.. things. Find her. Yet they do not attack. All they see is a witch, wich they are loyal to. One that is injured... Of course they shall protect them.

This took way too long and sorry for being so cryptic about it ^^’, but now ya know why I so suddenly gained an interest in MH :>

Might post just the lineart of the design later for an unshrouded look, tho I know some things could be played around with more (proportion wise) to hit home that MH creature feel, but I’m no expert and you’re probably more familiar with that anyway <3 also they’re your boys and the design already lends itself handsomely to the MH-iffication ^^

Also also, a little Bonus doodle ;)

Kinda falling in love with the whole idea as a possible au. A familiar, albeit slightly different hunter and monster/quarry dynamic, ey? But again, your boys, ain’t gonna step on your toes.

I'm going absolutely INSANE over this!! PIIXEL!!! I'M BITING THIS AND YOU SO HARD RN!!!!

I loooove the Nergigante inspired horns and how every scale, horn and spike are just so much BIGGER! It all comes together so well! Love how you drew their face as well, everything is more defined and their huge bottom canines are just MWAH!

I can't look away from those beautifully drawn HANDS!! LOOK AT THE ONES ON THE GROUND AND ON THE ROCK BEHIND THEM!! THEY'RE SO PERFECT!!!!!

And the lighting?! GOSH!!!!

I also am just in love with the concept of them being an elder dragon! Honestly they could definitely be one. Elder dragons are so diverse and weird looking so one looking like this wouldn't be so strange at all! Also the hunter and monster dynamic here is so intriguing! If you'll let me, I'd like to explore this a little more~

Hope it’s still oke to throw in song recommendations ^^’ Buuut these past couple days Infinite Skin (by Blaqk) has had a few loops in my playlists and I couldn't help but think of MBClip (or BHClip) and Vigilante, especially remembering the lovely phase of “owing a pound of flesh”, was it?

Oh, this is a banger! I love the vibe and the lyrics—I feel that both the vigilante and Eclipse (MB or BH) are telling the other about the deadly games they play and the blood owed. The infinite skin. They both have their goals, and someone has to give in or bow out, and it's a struggle, regardless.

Definitely fits with 'owing a pound of flesh' and I love to picture this as the ending credit song for "Under The Storm" ♥

Please forgive me for taking so long to properly reply to this one. The moment I got to read it, I really wanted to draw what Eclipse might look like but never found much time.

This is what I've got so far thought I'm aware he's missing a few of the described elements ^^'. Would love to properly explore his design some more and just go nuts - especially trying to hit a nice balance between scary but still appealing.

-which, gosh I love how that element is in the story! How despite his gentleness and the bond he has with the reader, he's still scary! An otherworldly being, uncanny, it doesn't sit right with the human psyche - but you're able to put that aside, push away instinct because he's kind, he's caring, he is your dear friend, and you are his!

Heya Naff!

Just had this little idea snippet pop to mind and I thought I’d share it with you cuz it’s kinda reminiscent of Lack of Light and I guess a little of Cryptid Sightings too.

So, what if Y/N for some reason or another ends up in a dark cave, not in any danger, but maybe just there to destress and have some calm, quiet time. Then they hear an ominous voice (Moon or Eclipse probably), but never see whom it belongs to. They make rather interesting conversation and despite Y/N’s curiosity, the voice warns that it's for the best Y/N doesn’t know what they look like, lest their appearance frightens them.

Over time and many more visits they become good friends. Y/N is always one to confide in them about their troubles and hardships, and the ominous voice replies with comfort and advice. Reversely on the rare occasion the voice opens up, Y/N is able to cheer them up with a lighthearted kindness and maybe some humour thrown in. 

Eventually Y/N gets curious enough and the voice's owner is revealed. They are indeed a little unsettling to say the least, but Y/N is able to remind themselves that this creature/thing is their friend and the encounter goes smoothly. 

From then on Y/N is also adamant of giving lots of hugs and cuddles, no matter how scary they seem. And tho the creature doesn’t say it, they do appreciate it.

Idk, I’m just soft for making friends with something scary / otherworldly that doesn’t get much love otherwise ^^ with a touch of secret, almost imaginary friend when you don’t have any others

But yeh, that’s all for now :) Hope you're well and have a lovely day/night, dear Naff <3 PS: haven’t gotten to CS chapter 19 yet, but hope to soon. From the little I know of you making people cry or something, I’ll be sure to have some tissues or a pillow at the ready :’) /lh

Shadow Monster!Eclipse x Reader (SFW)

You can’t speak. You bury your face in your hands, arms scraping against the bark of the willow. A terrible tremble falls over you as the gush of tears leaks past your defenses and down your cheeks. It doesn't matter that it’s pitch dark in the forest save for the barest splatters of moonlight nor that you hide away. You will not see Eclipse. He, however, sees you.

Word Count: 3,800~ Warnings: Anxiety and hurt/comfort.

A/N: This is based on @piixelpaint's ask which you can read here! (you're already here.) Their idea inspired me so much that I had to write a little something for it, and I do love creatures who hide and give comfort and maybe wish for a little comfort in return but are terrified of scaring away their human beloved. Eclipse fits this type of monster perfectly. I also was in a headspace of wanting to address some anxiety and explore some sweet hurt/comfort! Enjoy!

Latest I will contact people by will be September 1st, if there's still parts open by then I will extend the deadline

A discord will be made for all the animators so they can talk and collaborate if they like (not mandatory to join)

In general I want to give the artists as much time as possible but timeline will be around 3-4 months.

The parts are pretty long so make sure you have the time/motivation!

Okay Interest Check

Just gauging interest for now, how would people feel about participating in a multiple animator project about Sun and Moon?

It would be for the song Dr. Sunshine is Dead by Will Wood

Each part would aim to be around 20 seconds long and I'd give 3-4 months to the animators on the project
