the reason that humans are fish but also not fish in biology is because when sorted by clade they are fish and when sorted taxonomically they are not fish. cladistics and taxonomy are different systems with an overlap in application. unrelated, but actions that are ethical and/or compassionate/just/morally upright will only ever have coincidental overlap with actions that are lawful because these are determined by different systems with different priorities and functions. is it a fish? stupid question. we made up the concept of fish. is it useful to call it a fish in this context?
