And if the second derivative still leaves you confused about your gender identity just keep derivating until you get something different than 0
my calc professor just called inflection points nonbinary critical points and I'm like ah yes the 3 genders, local maximum local minimum and inflection point

Hi
I haven't produced any quality artposting or mathposting lately. Instead I made a chud wojak on desmos.
I made him out of cone sections and linear functions (I guess some people consider them degenerate conics) + one (1) 3rd degree polynomial.
He's upset because he's all rainbow-y and he thinks that's gay.

Kindergarten-level math research papers:
Field: Combinatorial Number Theory
Journal: Communications in Addition and Subtraction
Title: A Lower Bound on the Largest Natural number
Abbreviated Abstract: We prove a lower bound on the largest number. The proof proceeds in two steps: we begin with 1, and proceed by induction as until we lose count. We then add that number to itself. The main advance in the first step is to get a big number, and the second step notably avoids using multiplication (they don't teach that until 3rd grade).
Field: Topological Geometry
Journal: Advances in Nonlines
Title: The Four-Color Scribbles
Abbreviated Abstract: In this work we show a zoo of examples of nonlines (curves) with the unique property that they are either red, blue, orange, or purple, or some combination therein. The key idea is to use less colors rather than more, creating a clear and easy to follow proof. This provides a clear basis for simplifications to further work, such as scribbling with 5 colors.
Field: Playground Analysis
Journal: Slide Dynamics
Title: Sufficient Conditions to Yell Weeeeeee on Spiral Slides
Abbreviated Abstract: We identify sufficient conditions for a slide to cause joy. We identify a notion of a "fun slide," and prove that fun slides are a sufficient condition to make someone go Weeeee on a slide. We then verify a spiral slide is a fun slide, and provide numerous examples and non-examples (notably, a ramp is really not fun to slide down).
#this is so funny help#I think googology is literally a kindergardener's idea of what mathematicians do#mathblr

you go in for a punch but i swiftly rotate you in the 4th dimension, turning you away from me but also flipping you horizontally. you're left handed now idiot. have fun learning how to write backwards
#I mean hey at least all your allergies are gone now so I guess it's not all bad#Good luck recognizing right handed pathogenic proteins with your left handed immune system though

2025 is an awesome number
Kind of late for a new years post but I literally only remembered I had a tumblr today. Anyway I found out something very cool about square numbers when playing around on my calculator a few days ago and wanted to share.
First things first 2025 is 45 squared, which is already kind of cool, considering that square number years slowly grow sparser and sparser as time passes. The last perfect square year was 1936, 89 years ago. The next one is going to be 2116, in 91 years.
45 is also the sum of the first 9 natural numbers (10 if you consider 0 a natural number I guess), which reveals something even cooler:
This is a property that can be generalized !! The square of the sum of the n first natural numbers is always equal to the sum of the cubes of the n first natural numbers.
If you'd like to figure out the reason why this happens yourself stop reading this post and go give it a shot! It's pretty straightforward. And if you don't feel like doing that you can look at my sloppy-ish proof:
Ifyou know any other interesting properties about 2025 or square numbers or cube numbers I'd love to hear them!!
