[TS3] Blender References: Buy/Build Mode

Just a quick and tiny mod that I think people would appreciate as well!

I got tired of making furniture and having to copy EA objects to figure out their height, length, and width. And so I made myself a reference blend file!

I've made sure that everything is the right size, especially the walls and flooring, but it's possible that the table and seat have a milometer difference between a reference mesh and the cube reference.

Don’t sell my mods.

Didn’t think I would ever have to do this, but here I am.

In case you don’t remember me, hi, I am formerly Luke Teth of the ES/EQ/Cavaletti/I don’t even know anymore — The TS3 horse community. You may know me for the various HD mods I made, or really any number of CC I made, I don’t really remember it all, but the HD mods were the big and popular ones. I’m no longer active within these communities by any means, but I know my mods and custom content are still out there being used by the folks who are. That’s great! That genuinely makes me happy to know that people are still enjoying what I made, even if I’m no longer in the community or directly engaging with it.

HOWEVER.

It’s been brought to my attention that there’s been an instance of someone using my HD mods as a base for theirs, and then locking it behind a Patreon paywall. Upon investigating, I confirmed this is true (I can always tell when someone is using my HD mod as a base). This is completely unacceptable to me, as someone who always kept my content free and my TOU pretty loose in terms of restrictions.

I am fine if you edit my CC. I am fine if you use it as a base to make your own CC. I am very much not okay with you editing my content or using it as a base for yours, and then profiting off of that resulting content. Sure, it’s transformative, but it’s still using my content without my explicit permission for financial gain. I never made a single cent of money off what I did for the community, and I never did it with the expectation of making money. So why should you? I don’t know, it just makes me really sad to think about this. I really can’t believe this even happened.

So TL;DR, respect the creators you use content from, even if we aren’t active anymore. We will find out. We always do. And please never sell anything I made for your own profit, even if you’ve edited it. I learned to make my textures from scratch; so can you.

Also, consider this carte blanche to edit any of my CC to make your own, I know people have tried to contact me previously via this Tumblr about that, but obviously, it has not been checked in a while. Just don’t sell it, profit off it, etc. That’s all I ask. Credit would be nice, but since I’m not really around anymore that doesn’t really matter as much.

what world are you currently using for your stables? and what or some you would recommend?

Currently I'm using my own private world I made myself! But as far as recommendations go it depends on what type of barn you're going for and where it's located. I would suggest RDEC's worlds for something somewhat simple. I know some people use emptied and modified versions of game worlds as well. I've got this(https://anchorridgeeq.wixsite.com/anchorridgeeq/copy-of-hunter-lot) really old horsie-ish world that ive used every now and then. Also just combing through Tumblr you may find a world that suits your needs. Really it comes down to personal preference and most of the worlds you find might not be customized to what you'd maybe like without some creativity

Syboubou’s Advent Calendar 2021 Snowman 4t3 Conversion

I saw this cute little Snowman and wanted him in TS3 for some cute pasture photos of my sim horses. I thought I would share. The snowman is not recolorable, as I didn’t see myself wanting to recolor it. There was an instance while using him for photos that he just…disappeared. No idea why, placed another one, and all was good. Not sure what that was about, but he may do it again. He’s just shy. If I end up figuring out what’s causing that, I’ll update him, but otherwise he works for my purpose.

Found in Lawn Ornaments for $234. He was cloned off of a Seasons object to keep snow from settling on him, and he should fingers crossed be base game compatible, so definitely let me know if you run into any issues.
