Caleb and Olivia's grades for the semester. I don't know how Caleb managed to have perfect grades with a newborn baby at the house.

"Hi, I'm Enele," says a guy on the university quad. "Are you interested in joining the Bot Savants?"

The guy takes Olivia's breath away when she first looks at him. She's not a robot obsessed kind of girl at all, but maybe she could learn how to twist a few wires if it meant spending time with this guy.

"I'm Olivia," she says. "I'm really a nature kind of girl. I was coming by to check everything out. But, um, I don't really know much about robots."

"Well," Enele says, "if you do need any help or have questions you can ask any of us and we'll be happy to help. We also have some brochures that tell more about the Bot Savants."

At that time, one of those human-like robots comes over, complaining about a tingle in its back. Enele excuses himself, telling Olivia again to check everything out. She tries to hide the heat rushing through her and hopes it isn't making her cheeks too red. She pulls out her notes on the plants she's been studying, which she always carries with her, and pretends to be more interested in it than in watching Enele as he walks away with the stumbling robot.

Olivia tries not to spend all of her time at home. It’s not that she’s really all that interested in robotics, but she’s even less interested in seeing her brother and his girlfriend trying to put on their perfect parents personas.

But still, she loves Noah and she loves being a mom and wouldn’t change it.

Emily takes every chance she can to sit back and relax. She’s always wanted to be a mom, but this was never how she expected it to be.

Emily finds it hard to have a good attitude each day now that she’s expelled from college and is instead working a part time job while Caleb and Olivia go to their classes.

Caleb gets in extra naps during Emily’s time at work while Noah is sleeping too. Which just makes Emily even more annoyed when she finds them this way.

“It’s okay,” Caleb tells her. “We’ll get through this. I know you’re exhausted. Here, go take a nap while I take care of Noah.”

Sometimes Caleb knows exactly the right words to say to save himself from Emily’s rage.

Adam relaxes between his classes shooting some hoops on the small driveway outside their rented house.

Sometimes he thinks he could have tried out for the university's basketball team and had his education entirely paid for.

But eh, he knows he's not really that interested in basketball. He'd rather dig in the dirt and rocks around town instead.

Ethan hasn't talked to his friend Denise yet this semester. They don't have any classes together this year yet he's seen her around campus, but she hasn't said anything to him and so he hasn't said anything back. He still has her number but things ended so weird between them last semester that he's not even sure if he can text her.

So instead Ethan focuses on his classes and the robotics show that semester.

And of course the gaming competition. He can't say no to a gaming competition.

Life is already different for Ethan even though he still has two semesters left of college. Lily finished her degree from Windenburg University and moved back across the Atlantic and came to live with him instead of going back to Arcadia.

It's like they're already living out married life, even if Ethan is still going to classes each day. Lily has a job at a local law firm as a paralegal. She was excited to get the job and still is excited to go each day.

But it's also a bit of a strain on her energy and emotions sometimes. She doesn't always have time to finish her work at the office and has to come home to do some some research for the upcoming trials when all she wants to do is get into that bed and lay close to Ethan.

September 2033 - Britechester, Illinois

It's the start of a new year, the final semester for Adam Smith and the almost final semester for his twin Ethan.

At least, Adam hopes this is his final semester. He had gotten behind and hadn't been able to fix it like Charlotte had with her own problem.

But it's okay, he tries to tell himself. Just get through this semester and then he can go to Sulani to be with Charlotte and begin a new career and life on the other side of the world. It's strange to think about, but also exciting and something he's eager to get to.

And so we finish out the reception with some dancing and then blowing bubbles to celebrate this new married couple.

Thoughts:

It wasn’t terrible. I didn’t hate it, although yes, things do still need to be fixed. Why did Kat get a bouquet when she never used it? She didn’t walk down the aisle with it and throwing the bouquet did not work for me. I picked someone to throw it to but it never happened. I tried several times and nothing.

I did use two events for this. The wedding ceremony happened first and when it was over I immediately planned the reception at the same location with the same guests. It would be nice to be able to plan them both ahead of time.

The cake cutting worked fine for me once I got the table in the right place but I didn’t put anything on top.

My guests didn’t dress how I told them to. They just showed up in their own formal wear.

I wish Yori would have actually paid attention to Kat coming down the aisle instead of standing there staring off into space.

I had issues of not being able to ask anyone to be the Sim of honor, flower pal, etc. I tried making sure they had high relationship and all but never got the option to do so. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong or if I have some mod that’s messing it up.

But still, I do like the things I was able to add into my wedding here and hope other things will start working better soon. I’m also looking forward to exploring Tartosa.

I told Kat to have a dance with her stepdad Xander, but he went dancing crazy and she just watched him.

“Dad is a mess tonight,” Kat tells her brother.

Nathan is still so proud of his daughter that he never really had much to do with as she grew up. He follows her around, smiling wide.

Kat’s ex-boyfriend Baine congratulated Yori and Kat, and Baine’s wife Violet got jealous. I didn’t realize I still have Violet’s formal wear set to her wedding dress so she kept changing into it, lol. Trying to look better at a wedding than Kat obviously.

And Phoebe is still depressed at her sister’s wedding. She now stinks because she peed on herself even though there is a bathroom nearby. Sigh.

I tried to have them do their first dance together on that rug. But Yori’s dad decided to go dance on it and get in the way. I got him out of the way, tried again, and they still danced on the concrete instead of the rug!

Cutting the cake together. 🍰 It worked with no problems once I got the table moved into a spot with enough room.

But a nice moment during the ceremony—they said their vows and I took some pictures to remember this moment. 💕
