Anytime I’m drawing Timon, or even watching the movie/shows, or just looking at him in general, I get this like… weird feeling in my stomach/chest, that feels akin to like… overwhelming love and affection, but like… also the feeling of wanting to CHOKE HIM OUT?!?!???

????!!!

Like, the closest thing I can think to describe this feeling is “cuteness aggression,” but even that’s not quite right 🤣

It’s like… I LOVE HIM… I H ATE HIM … I’M LOVE??!!?

And I want to bully him 🥲

Timon:

“Ya know, Pumbaa ol' buddy, after all we've been through, what with finding our dream home, raising the lion king, and rearing his daughter...

I've realized something.”

Pumbaa:

“What's that, Timon?”

Timon:

“Well, you know practically everything there is to know about me... and, well, I... know next to nothing about you... I mean, warthogs don't just appear out of thin air! Where'd ya come from?”

Pumbaa:

“You're the one that always told me to put the past behind me, Timon.”

Timon:

“Only with things that cramp our Hakuna Matata lifestyle!”

This has been my headcanon for YEARS, but like—

Y’all ever wonder if Rafiki played matchmaker with Timon and Pumbaa?

I mean…

Who told Timon about Hakuna Matata? Rafiki.

And who did Timon meet just hours after speaking with Rafiki? PUMBAA.

And when Timon couldn’t remember the words “Hakuna Matata” later on, after they’d settled into their jungle oasis—

WHO SAID “EH, HAKUNA MATATA” AFTER TIMON SNAPPED IN FRUSTRATION?!?

PUMBAA.

So… where’d Pumbaa learn that phrase?!?

I think Rafiki spoke to both of them that night. And I think maybe he sensed Pumbaa was lonely and sent him in Timon’s general direction 👀
