A Staircase to Nowhere: Coming October 31st, 2025!
The link is live: PREORDER YOUR EBOOK TODAY. This is a soft launch & I'm releasing it on a whim. Gorgeous cover art from the talented @soft-puppy-boyfriend COMING SOON!!! (I'm so excited, the sneak peeks I've gotten are INCREDIBLE. I promise it's going to look so good, y'all).
If you like what you've seen of my writing, or if you are curious, or if you enjoy ghost stories or mystery or forbidden romance or stories about small towns with something to hide - I'd love it if you gave my debut original novel a chance. Paperback & hardcover options will also be available soon if you would rather wait on that, or to see what the cover art will look like. Keep an eye out, I'll post news as soon as I can.
There are places where the veil between our world and the spirit world is thinner than usual. This creates a rift – an opening for forces outside human understanding to influence our actions and thoughts. In these liminal spaces, there is the opportunity to harness forces beyond human comprehension. Such power, however, always comes with a price. When their parents are killed in a tragic and mysterious accident, Nick Carver finds himself with sole custody of his teenage sister, Chris. Struggling to stay afloat in a studio apartment and make ends meet, the siblings cling to their only lifeline: an inherited estate in a remote small town. Elderwood Manor is supposed to be a fresh start, but Barren Lake has a dark past filled with murky secrets and rumors of occult rituals that might just involve the Carver family. In nineteen ninety-six, the “Butcher of Barren Lake” ravaged the town with a series of murders and was never caught. In the present, speculations run wild when a teenage girl is slaughtered in her home. Nick and Chris decide to delve deeper into the history of Elderwood Manor when strange noises and alarming visions plague their nights. That's when they learn that their new home is the scene of an old crime. Can the ghosts of the past help unravel the mysteries of the present? Or should certain forces never be tampered with? Forbidden romance, twisted relationships, and dark family secrets complicate the lives of the residents of Barren Lake. Nick and Chris must learn everything they can to catch a killer and save themselves and their friends. With an assortment of allies and suspects that range from quirky to terrifying, the Carver siblings must decide who to trust while navigating through the grief and trauma of losing their parents and grappling with the changed dynamic now that Nick is Chris’ guardian. Digging into the blood-soaked history of Barren Lake is a dangerous game, filled with twists and turns at every corner. This is a story of trauma, grief, family, and the choice to move forward or stay stuck forever when tragedy strikes.

Literally cannot emphasize enough that my #1 writing advice is to stop being afraid. Stop being afraid of sounding too cringe, or too stupid, or too horrifying, or too horny, or too weird, or too much, or too little, or too you. You need to put your entire pussy into your art. Sure, it won't be to everyone's tastes, but if you keep yourself to the blandest tamest safest roads possible you will be of no one's tastes, not even yours.

Here's a fun thing where you (and other players) solve all 25 million 5x5 nonograms
They're about 20% done now.
This is the kind of online multiplayer I like. The kind where I never recognizably interact with any other human and just vaguely contribute towards a shared goal.

Thank you so much for your response! I really liked your epilogue designs for Dungeons and Daddies, but if I can request one thing to add, I would really appreciate an extra pair of heads of Linc and Scary together and being a cute couple. I really like the Gothcleats ship.
Oh, I’m way ahead of you king,

Using this as an excuse to dump all my sketches lol

Reminder that you don't have to call yourself AMAB or AFAB. You don't have to say "I'm AFAB nonbinary." Saying "I'm nonbinary" is enough. You don't need to identify with what you were assigned as by some doctor however many years ago. Mentioning your ASAB is scarcely relevant to most conversations, even those about medical transitioning.
Nonbinary is enough, you don't have to supplement it with a binary system of any kind. It doesn't matter how many people want to know your "transition direction." It doesn't matter how many people want to know what your genitals are (which wouldn't be alluded to by your assigned sex anyway). It doesn't matter how many people what to binarise you. It doesn't matter how many binary people you confuse. No one needs to binarise you. Nonbinary. Is. Enough.
