Oh my gosh! It was Skyla? The Skyla? Pokemon Gym Leader of the Mistralton Gym? What was she doing out here? She was so pretty. Emily was totally jealous that someone could be so pretty, but so strong like that! Maybe she should talk to her? No, she should totally talk to her!
“U-um! Hello there!“

The Heracross and Toxicroak were more confused than actually ‘placated’ in their sparring, but nonetheless it offers wonderful opportunity for Wylan to return them to their pokeballs. Gigi, the Lilligant, gets free reign of wherever she wants to go meanwhile. The flower girl is pretty much incapable of evil at this point, Wylan is rather sure.
Turning to the young woman (a cutie, now that he really pays attention to her and isn’t being a stupidly sarcastic sonofabitch) he offers a smirk and a wave of the hand after moving away his arm.
“Coordinator, trainer, performer, I’m a few different things! But all of those do include training, don’t they?” He chuckles, folding arms in front of his chest and leaning forward. Gigi is mimicking his behavior, adding little dances and twirls as she continually checks to see what her Master is doing.
“And this is a rare occasion, believe it or not. NikNak, the heracross here, is just…. well. He’s a bit standoffish and aggressive when it comes to trying to perform. He doesn’t take kindly to mistakes compared to Alto. That was Toxicroak.”

Emily giggled at the Lilligrant’s actions before her attention returned to the stranger, “Oh! You are a Coordinator too?” She folded her hands over her chest, “I mean, I’m not much of one yet, but that’s why I’m on a Pokemon Journey! I’m trying to learn how to become the best Coordinator I can be!” ...even if ‘training’ didn’t seem to be her forte yet.
She paused for a moment and tilted her head, “What kind of Contest do you specialize in?”

“I suppose she could be called slightly softer in her ways than your average Mightyena.” She’d still go with none of them were truly scary, but Irina was among the friendliest of the friendly for the species. “I’d say it does depend on training like that. …And the dog’s individual personality, as well. Rather than any sort of guard work, Irina’s only really trained for contests in recent times, so…”
A small whine came from Irina when the petting ended. But even with defeat on her face, she rolled over and stood back up, resuming her position of practically being glued to Sera’s leg.
“It… depends on the species, really. Some can be more difficult than others. Irina though, she’s been fairly well-behaved since she was a Poochyena. And caught, over in Hoenn just a few years ago. If you do plan on getting yourself a dog, it’s best to keep in mind that as with everything else, care needs vary by species. Some will need more exercise, some more grooming - it’s especially important to be on top of all that for them if you’re going to be entering them in contests.”
Emily nodded slowly. She had listened carefully to every word, and tried to make a mental note of each one. She wished she had some delightful insight to add, or a least an intelligent question that would match the elegance of Sera’s long response... but nothing like that came to mind.
She hung her head for a moment, and looked at Irina, before looking back up at Sera, “Well um... what species would you recommend? For beginners, I mean? I’d love to add to my team, but I really don’t have the money to buy a Pokemon right now... but like, I’d totally be happy with trying to catch one too!”

“Great! Let’s hurry and go!” She announced,”It will definitely help! I learned when I was training alongside Magi. She used to ignore me completely and do the opposite of what I asked until after we started doing side by side training, and she realized that I wouldn’t push her further than I’d push myself.”

“P-push? Why are we pushing our Pokemon?“ Emily murmured. She shook her head, “I’m not much of a runner, but I can do my best? Where is this jogging place anyway?“ Hopefully it wasn’t far... the thought of walking quite a distance to where they were going to run, and then afterwards walking back sounded painful already. But... she would do it! If it meant learning how to be a Coordinator!

Kekoa puffed his chest out, full of pride.
“Yeah yeah! I’m Kekoa Pelakiko, stage husband to Aurora Pelakiko and father to Mireille.” He smiled brightly, “Nah, Mireille and Aura are being cute in the studio at home today. They’re having a mommy-daughter day while I’m out looking for gifts. Because I love seeing Miri smile.”

“O-oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! I am now like, so embarrassed! How did I not recognize Mireille? I’ve seen her in so many magazines!“ She pressed her hands to her cheeks. They were trying to find something cute for Princess Mireille? Oh no... her mind just went suddenly blank. This was totally happening and she wasn’t dreaming, right?
She shook her head to try and clear her thoughts, “Oh! Um! Then we should find the cutest accessories for her!” She paused for a moment, before starting down one of the far isles, where a ton of hair pieces were hung up on the wall on one side, and cute bags were hung up on the other, “Oh um... watch your step! I hope the store won’t be too crowded for you?”
This particular shop wasn’t exactly known for wide isles or easy navigation... especially for someone of his size...

Well, most places didn’t have a communal kitchen, but Esaias found that it never hurt to ask, though the places that did have them generally catered more towards travelers and this was definitely not one of those places.

“Thanks,” Esaias replied.
“As thanks for your help, I would be happy to share my lokoumades with you!’ Celia stated. Esaias could only roll his eyes from under his hood, but he didn’t protest.
“ Lokoumades?“ Emily repeated curiously. She tilted her head slightly, “What’s a... I mean! It’s no big, really! You don’t have to give me anything just for showing you towards a Pokemon Center! I’m totally okay with helping you! I have to check in there anyway!“

“Well, I’m a Ranger, so now zat I know about it, I’m going to stop zem right away, mais I sink it would be better to get you somewhere safe first, Mademoiselle…-Désolée. Err… So-Sorry, but I don’t sink you told me your name, mademoiselle.” Poachers, a witness, and she still couldn’t control her Kalosian.

“Um, no? My name isn’t Moiselle?“ Or Deserey for that matter, “I’m Emily Moors, from Unova. Am... I in some sort of trouble?“
Somewhere safe huh? Was a Pokemon Center safe? She could totally head there!

The enthusiasm was admirable for a young coordinator, she had to note that. If Emily could keep it the whole way and learn enough to back it up, then Aya had no doubt she’d end up doing well.
“If that’s the case, then I’ll be rooting for you the whole way!” Years of the work meant she practically couldn’t help throwing up a somewhat cheesy peace sign to go with her words. “Bet you’ll do great.”
Her own pep didn’t quite match Emily’s excitement, but if nothing else she was quite obviously having a nice enough time with the conversation.
“Ah, not huge on like coffee-coffee, actually. More Kai’s thing. I’ll just end up grabbing whatever’s fruitiest probably, that’s how it usually goes. No worries. Uh, and you?”

“I usually have a triple-triple coffee!“ Emily cheered! She hurried into the cafe, “Oh my gosh! Speaking of Kai, I can’t wait to see your double contests again! Have you gone back to them? I’ve been totally traveling and haven’t been-“ She suddenly froze, near the back of the line, “Oh my gosh! That was probably so rude of me to ask a personal question like that! I am so, so sorry!“
