Bonnie Bennett & Damon Salvatore as the main faculty of the Salvatore Boarding School. 

From enemies to friends to something more to...teachers... Sure, why not! ‘Cause for real, of all of them, who better to run a school for magical kids than the girl who went to the witchcraft school of hard knocks! I mean, she had to learn so much on her own, ran into so many pitfalls and troubling, dangerous situations. I can see her not wanting that for those supernatural youngsters.

Soooo, I have a fic prompt if anyone wants to tackle it...

Bon is having a tough time getting over her losses and isn't meeting anyone who trips her trigger, but wants to have a baby to carry on the Bennett legacy, and Damon (now that he's human) offers to help her out, and in the process fall in love...or probably saying "they realize they were already in love with each other, but just couldn't admit it...'cause Elena" would be a better way for it to come about. 

If anyone wants to write this, I, and a few other people who have said they totally want it, would be eternally grateful!

Thanks Bamily! Let’s keep the awesomeness that is Bamon fanon going! And don’t forget to keep your eyes out for the Bamily season 8 rewrite that @bonneibennett is spearheading! You know it’s gonna be awesome!!!

Hi Nisha! Since TVD's ending tonight I just wanted to say thank you for all you do for the fandom, from your beautiful art and fanfic to your thoughtful critique to your constant answering of questions (apparently mostly about the damn cure, lol). Thank you for introducing me to Bamon - as sad as I am that the possibilities of their beautiful relationship were not realized in canon, I'm so glad I go to root for them with you and the rest of the Bamily. I'm so excited (1/2)

Awwww, this is so sweet, thank you!! I’m so grateful to you and the fandom too. That’s been the real takeaway for me, now that it’s all finally over… none of this was ever actually about what bs they pulled on the show. Like yes, it was nice in s6 when they gave us a taste of what we had been asking for, and the fan/media response in itself shows just how right we were about how compelling the pairing is, how it had the potential to really revitalize what had long before become a tired, predictable mess of a show. 

But outside of that, we’ve spent 8 years taking the nonsensical scraps of this lazy, terribly conceived show and turning them into beautiful art, ridiculous inside jokes, and stories actually worth telling. We did that ourselves, and their acknowledgment is neither needed nor honestly even all that desirable. You see what they did with the canon ships that they apparently love so much… it’s pretty cringeworthy. Like, no thanks. lol

When the country's most notorious con man takes off to warmer climes for the holidays, rookie agent Bonnie Bennett is teamed up with jaded veteran Damon Salvatore to track him down.

They pose as a honeymooning couple in order to get close, gain the trust of the bad guy, and take him down. Collecting evidence and arresting him was their mission, but the charade gets a little too real. Bonnie is very good at playing a newlywed in love, and without even trying, she’s managing to break down all Damon’s carefully erected emotional walls. It’s getting harder and harder for Damon to tell where the act stops and Bonnie’s true feelings begin, or if she even feels the same way he does...

What happens when the fiction they’ve created together becomes the assignment Damon wants for life? Can his Christmas wish come true or is he just setting himself up for heartbreak?

Well I've been batting this idea around for a while but Damon and Bonnie as Dom and Letty is one of my fave headcanons. AND spoilers for anyone who has not seen the movie, perhaps one where Damon is Dom, running his street racing empire and Bonnie is the cop that is sent undercover into his group.
