WHY GERSON IS SCOTTISH

By me local Scottish person and some American boy I guess

Reason one: The fit

Kinda an overall vibe thing but in particular his hat to me is unmistakably a Tam O’ Shanter one of these bad boys you may recognize from pokemon SWSH.

Reason Two: His first theme Gyaa Ha Ha!

Another vibes thing, very north Eastern European folksy feel and also there’s definitely pipes if not a chanter used in the song pretty frequently.

Reason 3: His speech patterns

This one’s a little weaker to me personally, just going through there’s words he uses that I think if it was supposed to be obvious he’s Scottish would be different, but he’s got an ever slight cent in how he talks, cutting off the ends of words and such.

Reason Four: He’s the coolest guy ever and as we all know Scottish people are like the coolest right guys

Reason uh Five: I’m Scottish and I just feel it in my blood you know so like it must be true.

Me and @thedorkyidiot were talking about Spamton’s speech patterns and he’s making me post abt it.

What we’ve found is that whenever he uses [ ] it’s a clip or recording from something else he’s heard and when he uses [[ ]] it’s where the ads go and also in particular image files if we look at the ad is missing and [[ ]] is used also for his Hyperlink Blocked texts and HeartShapedObject which are also presumably images.

And also it seems the only times he speaks normally is when his eyes to the static thingy

(Side note Dork thinks this is Dess talking through him but I’m not so sure just thought I’d mention)

This pattern is pretty consistent across his dialogue, but there are a few times it doesn’t seem to work like these two:

The first one COULD be an ad but it seems unlikely, and the second is just a made up word.

Other notable stuff is his majority of CAPITALIZING SPEECH or only capitalizing the first letter of words but not at the beginning of sentences.
