Alright y'all im abt to dump my opinions and thoughts all over you so just. Just bare with me. Please.

[ spoilers for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet starfall street path ]

So. I was replaying Violet recently and. like. Team Star.

Because. Like, i really liked them?? I liked how they were talked about like rebels and general assholes until you realize they are all victims of bullying. They are a little group banding together to make their lives better, for no one but themselves.

And i mean- like thats all because of penny, right? Yk Cassiopeia and such. They only EVER met her online till like the end and such. And then when it showed that the rest of them would get in trouble? She took the blame, cut herself off from them so they could go to school peacefully- and they didn't even know her real name.

And there was the code- she knew she couldn't order them to stop, so she made a plan to get then back to school anyway.

There was the whole ending scene there too, they're her greatest treasure as much as she is theirs- because they still LOOK for her long after she told them to disband. They still wait for word from her.

And even in the flashbacks after you beat a team star base, when they stand in a circle theres always one spot empty - presumably for penny.

Thanks for coming to my ted talk of why team star is rad and i WILL cry over them. This ain't the longest word dump but it's MY word dump.
