In the recording studio of the special TV Program  "Adventure Experience Variety Show", the 9 members of SOARA and Growth will be performing as guests, be part of the latest technology of the program and warp to a virtual reality space. Dressed in fantasy-style clothing, recording the playing field exploration has begun but…?

Sora: To suddenly appear like this, hello, everyone! It’s Ohara Sora from SOARA! 

Kouki: Greetings, I am Etou Kouki from Growth

Sora: Oh, to appear in a variety show with Kou-kun and the others. This is the best!

Kouki: I’m glad, too, to be able to perform with everyone from SOARA. Sora, please treat me well today.

Sora: I’ll be in your care-! Let’s do our best!

Sora: ...That being said, why is it that there’s only the two of us in this forest, though?

Kouki: Ah, the others aren��t around here, I see...

Sora: “Virtual reality space”, huh? Technology is amazing, isn’t it… the scenery looks so real you can’t even tell we’re in a studio!

Kouki: There's the feel of the wind and the smell of the trees, too. It's like you're really in a forest.

Sora: Staff-saaan! What do we do nooow?

(Wooosh... THUD!!!!!)

Sora: OW!! Something… fell on my head??

Kouki: This is…? It says “The Scrolls of Great Adventure”.

Sora: ….What? What’s this? “Chosen ones, gather your friends and acquire the ‘Legendary Sword’ and the ‘Crystal’”.

Kouki: “Once these are ascended to the Heavenly Temple, the Golden Holy Grail shall appear”...?

Sora: That’s so cool!!! It’s like a real RPG game~

Kouki: I don’t play games much… but I do know about the Golden Holy Grail. Sora: Huuh? Really?!

Kouki: Have you ever seen the decoration at the entrance of Tsukipro's headquarters?

Kouki: It seems that Gravi and Procella received it from when they appeared in this special program, too

Sora: Ah.. so it’s this same program, huh!

Sora: Alright, then when we get the Holy Grail, let’s display it in Tsukipro’s entrance as well!

Kouki: Let’s do our best to bring home the Holy Grail. And so, with SOARA and Growth’s team, each of their great adventures are set into motion….

Nozomu: Tada~! It’s your charismatic bard Nozomu!!

Sora: Tadaaaa~! It’s your Warrior Sora!!

Nozomu & Sora: ...Huh?

Sora: We’re the only ones in the initial party?!

Nozomu: We’ll meet Mori-senpai and the others along the way of our great adventure! That’s what the staff-san told me!

Sora: Nozomu and me, a party with just the two of us… somehow, I’m a bit worried...

Nozomu: Me too!!!

Nozomu: Anyways, compared to me being bard, isn’t Sora-senpai’s equipment much simpler?? It seems sorta dull...

Sora: Fufufu… that’s okay! “Warrior” can become “Hero” by  a class change!  

Nozomu: Hero?! Whoa, niiiice, that sounds cool~!

~Growth’s initial party introduction!~

Kensuke: Hello! It’s your Knight Kensuke~!

Kouki: So Growth’s team starts with just Ken and me, huh...

Kensuke: Kou, I’m counting on you!

Kensuke: But anyway, Kou, you’re a…. What’s your class, again?

Kouki: I’m a… I’m not sure, but the Staff-san told me I’m a “Noble Youth”... Is that strange?

Kensuke: I see, a noble youth, huh? I geddit! That sort of job, somehow… Well, it’s just as overwhelming as Kou-kun so it’s fine… It suits you!

Kouki: It does? Then, I’m glad.

Location: Somewhere else, in a clearing in a forest, where Growth’s Fujimura Mamoru is...

Mamoru: You guys~ Hurry up and c’mereeee~ I’m lonelyyyy...

Mamoru: I’m all alone… Inside this… Small room… I’m trapped…!!!!

Kouki suggests masks that suit Kensuke and Mamoru. Growth’s summer festival trip comes to a close with Mamoru’s wish.

Kouki: For Ken’s and Mamoru’s masks… 

Kensuke: ...An okame… [1]

Mamoru: ….Hyottoko.... [2]

Kouki: ...is it bad?

Ryouta: That’s not it at all. They actually suit them well. You two agree, right?

Kensuke & Mamoru: Yeah!!!

Location: In front of Shrine

Mamoru: Fufu… We’re all wearing masks, huh? It makes a great souvenir, right?

Kouki: Aah.. this place was bustling with people today so it was fun.

Ryouta: It was nice to take a break.

Kouki: ...Next year, I want to come here again with everyone..

Mamoru: Yeah, yeah! Definitely, okay?

Ryouta: Personally, I can’t come to the festival, so I’d better just become a seller in the future, huh?

Kensuke: When that time comes, if you use that mask as a disguise, you’ll be fine.

Ryouta: No, I’d stand out.

Mamoru: Fufu…. For me, even if I become famous, even if I become busy. Next year, and year after year, I will always want to come to this festival with you guys.  

Kouki: Mamoru… Of course.

Ken: Alriight. Now that that’s settled… let’s resume the stall tour~!!

Mamoru: Wooot~!!

Ryouta: ...Sheesh! this atmosphere is scorching.

Kouki: You say that but you seem to be having fun, too

Ryouta: … We went out with two children. Well, anyway, maybe a bit today?

Kouki: Fufu… Alright.

[2] Hyottoko is a comical Japanese character, portrayed through the use of a mask. His mouth is puckered and skewed to one side. What does Ryou find behind the stalls of the summer festival...? A conversation of what suits them and what doesn’t ensue.

Kouki: ...That shop...

Mamoru: Whoaa! There’s so many toys that kinda make me remember my childhood. This kind of thing is great~

Kensuke: It has the same feeling as stalls from way back then, huh

Ryouta: Masks, Handmade rice crackers with a fox’s face, Fox-shaped glass candy glass as well… 

Kensuke: Oh, that’s cool. The masks aren’t plastic but made from Japanese paper, too

Mamoru: There’s a lot of fox-themed stuff because there’s an Inari shrine nearby [1]

Kouki: (tries the mask on) Huh… i think it’s nice, this fox mask. It’s great.

Ryouta: Fufu, it suits Kou.

Mamoru: It’s so captivating, it’s strange how it looks perfect at its place...

Kensuke: It totally, totally suits him!

Mamoru: Uhuh!

Kouki: Since we’re already here, I wonder if I should buy it as commemoration?

Ryouta: In place of a souvenir, I might buy one, too? Nowadays it’s rare to see masks made from Japanese paper so...

Kensuke: Alright! Should I choose a mask that would fit Ryou?

Ryouta: Thanks, but don’t

Kensuke: So quick to say no!

Ryouta: Because you’d just pick a weird-looking one

Kensuke: No I won’t!

Ryouta: …That being said, what’re you holding in your hand?

Kensuke: Eh? This one? TADAA! A mask that represents Ryouta’s true face!

Ryouta: (tries the mask on)...Totally not weird

Mamoru: That’s nice. I want a mask, too ��

Kouki: Will you buy one, Mamoru?

Mamoru: Uhuh! Hey, Koukun, what kind of mask would suit me?

Kouki: ...Hmmm...

Kensuke: Oh, Kou~! Can you help me make a choice? Which one do you think would suit me?

Kouki: Masks that would suit you two, huh?

Ryouta: Since Kou is a fox… a pet like Mamoru would probably be a tanuki? [2]

Kensuke: Fujimura Tanuki Mamoru

Mamoru: Tanuki became my middle name...

Ryouta: It’s kind of remarkable

There are lots of sights to see in the summer festival and Growth decide to try them. Along the way, Ryou finds something...?

Mamoru: It’s really been awhile since I’ve gone to a fair. There’s so much stuff happening that I might just get lost in it! SO NERVE-RACKING~ SO EXCITING~

Ryouta: I can totally understand Mamoru’s excitement

Kensuke: Since it's a festival, there is no right or wrong in enjoying it, right? Even I feel the SO NERVE-RACKING~ SO EXCITING~ too!

Kouki: Say, Mamoru, do you want to try this shooting game? I've never played before Mamoru: Eh, shooting game? I've never played that too... Alright! Let's do it, Kou-kun!

Kouki: Yeah, let's take the challenge together

Kouki: Huh... this gun is kinda heavy...

Ryouta: Strangely, your gun suits you...

Kensuke: That's right! Like an aristocrat who came to hunt... see it?

Ryouta: U-huh. Oh, Mamoru, you’re in your proper place, too. Can you run through the forest for a moment to chase out a deer?

Mamoru: Understood! But, hey, Kou-kun’s dog wouldn’t be a hound, would it?

Kensuke : Accepting being Kou’s dog, are you~?

Kouki: … (Bang, bang)　

Kouki: This is surprisingly difficult...

Mamoru: Alriiiight, my turn! (Bang, bang)

Kensuke: Doesn’t an empty stomach make you feel weak?

Ryouta: Ken, you did nothing but watch though,… but I wanted to point that out, too.

Ryouta: Eat the food you want to eat. This is the long-awaited festival, right?

Kensuke: Now you’re talking! Hm.. let’s see here… Ah, a candy apple! A festival always calls for a candy apple!

Kensuke: Miste~r, one, please!

Mamoru: As for me, maybe I’ll go for takoyaki? They have “Classic Takoyaki”, “Original Takoyaki” and “Special Takoyaki” [1]

Kouki: Over there is… goldfish scooping?

Kensuke: Kou, will you also try goldfish scooping?

Kouki: No, I’ll just watch. Why aren’t there aquariums in festivals?

Ryouta: ...

Kensuke: Ryou? Did something catch your eye?

Ryouta: Yeah, behind this is...

[1] Mamoru actually lists the takoyaki in order as: Ganzu Takoyaki, Honke Takoyaki and Meibutsu Takoyaki… I don’t know the official english translations but you can see how these diff takoyakis look like and differ by looking up photos online

In which Growth head over to the Summer Festival on their day off....

Location: Growth dorm

Kensuke: Everyone, are you doing alright?! Then, with that being said, let the members of Growth in the Summer Festival begin~!

Ryouta: … Ken, who are you talking to?

Kensuke: Ahaha, it’s somehow like the start of a TV variety show.

Ryouta: Ah, Ken, you’re as energetic as ever.

Kensuke: Even better than usual! It’s because today is...

Kouki: Our day off after a while.

Kensuke: Yeah!

Kouki: And also, the summer festival.

Kensuke: Exactly! It’s totally natural to be this hyped, right?

Ryouta: Yeah, yeah.

Mamoru: Wait, h-help, my yukata…?! The belt keeps on falling?! Ooh noo!!

Ryouta: And that over there is lively, too, huh...

Kouki: Mamoru, there’s a certain way to wind the belt、just wrapping it tightly won’t do the trick.

Mamoru: A-as expected of Kou-kun…. you know how to dress properly… teach me how to do it, pleease!

Kouki: Well, first you do this...

Mamoru: Right...

Mamoru: Ooh nooo…. K-kou-kun! My belt is falling again…!

Kouki: Alright now, I’ll fix it so don’t panic

Ryouta: Why is it only Mamoru’s that breaks apart...

Mamoru: M-maybe my yukata isn’t the right fit? I wanted to show off my adult charms so… ohoho

Ryouta: Though, you’re showing off your bad parts instead

Mamoru: Right?

Kensuke: Ryou, could it be that you eagerly bought a yukata specifically for this day?

Ryouta: Great, isn’t it? I’m the type that goes for the form first

Mamoru: AAh! Look, food stalls! FOOD STALLS!! Where are we gonna charge into first?! I want to eat lots of food!!
