His lips formed a frown.  "We'll see about that." He replied with a small smirk.  

He kept an eye on the man, spreading the word to identify where he headed.  he knew enough about his mention of going to see the governor, however Kidd could't help but wonder where else he was going.

Namely where he stayed in Havana.  

Something to hold against him perhaps.

So perhaps the dark haired woman with blue eyes, that seemed so broken shouldn't have been such a surprise.

What was left unsaid by that husky voice. More secrets on the precipice of common knowledge but…that look. That was a look that you gave someone when they knew something about you. "I presume only by your mention. Rodrigo Borgia was a Templar." He answered setting the spyglass he had been fiddling with on his desk.  There were maps, but unless he knew the Assassins method of code he wouldn't be able to make heads or tails of them.  They were marked with Steelae though and nothing else.  And considering the center of that was on Tullum he couldn't exactly use them without risking his life if he was a Templar.

"I presume only because of the words that left your mouth..." he frowned "But I suppose I'll have to take your word on that.  And perhaps this bargin can be kept without having to feed you to the fish." He laughed a bit "Though I doubt someone with your...personality...would be that missed." He heard a whistle.  The call for land, he would need to take the helm, had time really passed that quickly? The sun was starting to set, he had been slightly off on their time hadn't he?  

"Well Cabin boy...looks like our little chat has to come to an end."

He bowed slightly, shoving the knife into his pocket.  "James Kidd is the name...Da vinci...You've got quite a reputation from what I've heard...Genuis...some have called you." he smirked a bit.

He listened intently, knowing the Borgia...the spaniard...the rumors surrounding him had swamped england and he'd gone down in history as one of the most corrupt popes in the catholic church.  

How very like a templar to squander what they had.  "The Sage...can't say I have...sounds like a bunch of hogwash, just that the observatory..." Kenway kept spouting on about it and Kidd couldn't help but feel it was hogwash.

"So You're a Templar." The word was said with venom.  He smirked.  "And now you get to give me a reason why I shouldn't throw you overboard in the next shark infested area we pass?"

"That all depends on who you ask doesn't it?" Smirked the other, not letting the man get to him. 

The one question he wanted to ask of course, would determine exactly what he would do this man.  Though part of him couldn't deny the urge to make his life hell if he was a templar...or even if he was an assassin.  The man was far too cocky for his own good.

"You ask your question first of course...gives me more time to think of mine." His own expression one of muted enjoyment.

"That question all depends on the answer of which do you ally yourself with?" He smirked fiddling with the spyglass that he had kept on his desk.  "And you are not who you seem, but perhaps it will be out little game then Killian...to figure out each others secrets." 

Though perhaps it was a dangerous game, if he was a Templar, and found out  Kidd's secrets...he might have to kill the man.  

Either that or make sure that he never got the chance to talk to the templars. Perhaps cutting out his tongue, or something equally threatning.  Cocky bastard that he was he wouldn't deny he deserved it.

"And these authorative elements are?" He looked at him curiously, walking towards the tavern, the sounds of merriment apparent even from their distance.  "I happen to be in a certain group...that has goals that sort of match up to yours...I can tell you more in private...but I'm curious if you don't mind getting your hands dirty perhaps you'd be an asset to us...hearing me out will make up for me having to buy your clothes." He smirked. Jabing the man playfully.

"Desperate times call for desperate messures I suppose." he propped his feet up on the desk laughing at the man a bit.  Though confessing anything of the sort for himself would be a life. It would also reveal the one secret he wasn't keen on saying to anyone in his crew. The aristocratic laugh, just who was this man.  "I'm just curious to see how the former captain of such a gilded monstrosity ticks..."  He smirked if the man wasn't honest he'd find that out on his own.

So tell me, there a ladyfriend waiting for you in Havana?"  he didn't seem to care about mention of the governor but that left Kidd with cause for concern. Considering the aforementioned governor was  aligned with the Templar's as best he understood. 

But perhaps it wasn't best to broach the subject.

He would just have to find out what was in that precious chest of his.  Perhaps it might get the Assassins some leeway.  

"Or do you prefer a mans company...what considering you're favorite color is Lilac." He scoffed.
