Summertime is here. And how does Allegro Dolce celebrate? By putting on her bard-kini and heading to the beach for sun and tropical adult beverages.

If you lie to me about bringing your two "emotional support" dogs into my car, and you can't control them when I ask you multiple times to sit them down, and they leave fur all over my backseat, then I don't care if I was "rude" to you.

Do you miss the pirate captain, and her first mate?

Or the crystal crackhead who's not doing so great?

Do you miss the bard full of song and fire?

Or any other OC of mine that you desire?

Maybe the reporter pone full of anger and stress,

Or the pega pone delivering a weather address.

I was told by a coworker today that he's never met anyone who plans out long term jokes like I do, and I took that as a compliment.

Finally, my years of being a My Little Pony fan have paid off.

It's May and I haven't even come close to my art goals for the year. Need to figure out how to get back on track.

Man oh man nothing like having superb weather instincts and having the foresight of a tornado, yet being the only one to show up to tell the whole area about it.

First, many thank yous to everyone that reached out, left a comment, or reacted on Hobbes' memorial post the other day. It's extremely appreciated. It still hurts to not have him here. I keep looking over to the couch, where he would sit on the arm and wait for pets. He's not there, and it'll take a while to get over that.

It hurts as much that happened so sudden, and that I did nothing to prepare for it. No after life planning and no way to properly say good bye. I had to bury him in the backyard that night, and I know he deserved better than that. It'll hurt as much the day I move and I have to leave his final resting place. I don't know if I would have had him cremated and save the ashes, but I wish I had that as an option.

So I did the best thing I could, and found a frame to hang his collar and a couple pictures of him. And I know it's a collar, but I'll always have that keepsake of his. I know everything will get better in time, but I known it'll take a while.

Difficult night, came home from work to find that Hobbes had passed away today. He wasn't doing so well the past few weeks and I knew the time was inevitable. I gave him pets and kisses before I went to work this morning, telling him I loved him, not knowing that was my last interaction with him. He was extra clingy around me the past week, not leaving my side. It was like he was preparing to say goodbye.

This one hurts a lot. Hobbes was the first pet of mine I could call my own. I picked him out when we went to adopt a friend for Geordie in Pontiac in 2008. Hobbes was the first pet who actually want to be around me, to show love and affection towards me. Hobbes was stubborn at times, but a loyal and loving companion. He remained that way after I went through some tough times.

Now I have to say goodbye, and I don't know I fully ever will. I'm going to miss my little boy. But I know his pain and suffering is over and he can rest easy now.
