Med @fairuzfan’s blog got terminated by tumblr which is obviously unjust for all the people who rely on them for resources on Palestine, but it now leaves Hussam’s helpgazachildren donation drive without a point of communication, and has deleted all previous information Med had shared about the drive.

Please remember to keep donating to helpgazachildren as Hussam’s hard work getting resources to families in Gaza should not have to be hindered while Med is working on getting their blog back 🤍🇵🇸

Noticed everyone was making fantasy high ocs and wanted to join in (info under the cut)

Freddie is a 5'11" hobgoblin who is quiet and creative but also indecisive, which meant they had some difficulties settling on a class in their first year. They started out as a wizard because it was the class their family was most excited for them to take. However, they didn't enjoy it very much, so halfway through the year they experimented with bard class, which they enjoyed but weren't very good at. Eventually they settled on druid classes. They don't yet have the courage to break the truth to their family that they're not taking wizard classes anymore, but they hope that once they become impressive enough at druidic magic that they will find it. Druid magic comes fairly easy to them, and they have found that if they stand in one place for too long a small patch of meadow will begin to sprout around their feet.

guillermo del toro’s pinocchio is a beautiful film but my god no one has adapted that story like neverafter. you can never look at it the same way again after listening to lou wilson, a black man, explaining that he chose to play as pinocchio because it’s a story about a little boy who isn’t allowed to make mistakes. that in pinocchio's story, he is fundamentally barred from childhood at once upon a time. he must earn something that everyone else is granted from birth. the other boys get to tell lies and play and get into trouble, but when pinocchio does the same thing there are grave and violent consequences. his pinocchio is trying to understand why the world is so unfair, why the rules are so different for him, why everyone else gets to be a real boy.

and I think about it every day.
