This Prototype Digimon Looks Like a Pet
Tumblr media
Just another fan art of a well-known Japanese multimedia franchise, this time a Digimon fan art. This Digimon in particular is Salamon (also known as Plottmon in Japanese), the Rookie form of Gatomon (also known as Tailmon in Japanese). She is my favourite Digimon, as she is cute and appears to have a simple design. The most surprising part is that Salamon is actually a Prototype Digimon designed to resemble real-life pets.
Owing to the Digimon lore, I have drawn Salamon interacting with a ball. We know that dogs are supposed to play and/or train dog fetching. However, Salamon is simply staring at the ball in this piece of art. She is contemplating what to do with it.
I have to admit that it wasn't easy to get convincing results when I drew this. Maybe I am unhappy with how her left foreleg is drawn, so the next time I should draw this limb as chubbier as the rest of her legs. Paraphrasing Francisco de Goya in his last sketches, I am still learning.

Freedom to Roam
Tumblr media
I have decided to post another Pokémon fan art. This one is about one of the Hoenn's Fire-type starter Pokémon, Torchic. It is my favourite Pokémon because chickens are my favourite bird. I actually like Torchic's crest and it is so cute that I don't let any of my Torchic evolve.
While the Pokédex states that Torchic, like its evolved forms, live in grasslands, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero (namely "The Indigo Disk" DLC) depicts Torchic inhabiting in polar areas. I was inspired to do this fan art that focuses on Torchic, as this piece of art's working title was "Let's Explore This Snowy Place!".
Furthermore, I originally intended to draw its feet as realistic as possible, but the result didn't convince me. Consequently, I compensated this by redrawing the feet by using a screenshot of Pokémon Journeys as a reference.
That is all I wanted to express about this fan art of Pokémon I have made. Where is this Torchic going to in the middle of the polar area?

Everybody's Favourite Pizza Tower Boss
Tumblr media
My second Pizza Tower fan art, this time one that is Noise-centric. No, The Noise is not in my list of my favourite Pizza Tower characters. The reason why I made this piece of fan art was because I was inspired by an official patch for Pizza Tower that is called "The Noise Update". I know that there is a section of the Pizza Tower fandom that have this character as their favourite. This explains that The Noise is popular enough to warrant an update to make him a player character (i.e. to allow players to play as him in a New Game Plus mode). As a result, this piece of fan art's alternative titles are "Everybody Loves The Noise" and "Everybody's Favourite PT Boss".
For those who are unfamiliar to the indie game and, more specifically, the character in question, The Noise is the third boss of Pizza Tower that is based on The Noid, the mascot of Domino's Pizza. True to his inspiration, The Noise despises pizza and works as an actor, in which he pretends to have a smiling expression and a childish behaviour. His favourite food is candy and he is often seen riding a skateboard.
While it is my first time to draw him in digital art, I actually drew The Noise for the first time on paper, namely on an informative comic. Can you imagine what The Noise is pointing at?

A fan art depicting André in a rare pose, a rare picture of André & Wally B.
In this post in particular, I have decided to post two André & Wally B.-related pictures simultaneously: a fan art that is made 100% by myself and a rare picture.
Tumblr media
The first attached picture is a piece of André & Wally B. fan art, titled "André lying back in the grass". As its name implies, it literally depicts André lying on the grass as he breaks the fourth wall. I remember that most fan arts featuring André himself depict him either standing or sitting. I guess I may be the first artist to draw him lying while his back is visible.
Tumblr media
The second one is a bonus. This one is a rare picture, namely a concept art of The Adventures of André & Wally B. that explains how a geometrical shape called "teardrop" was created in order to model André's torso. It was found in the official website of The Pixar Touch, a book about the animation company in question. More specifically, it was found in a blog article titled "Art challenging technology". However, as of 2022, nearly all links that use its domain have been deprecated and currently redirect to the article about the book itself in the author's personal website. Luckily, I managed to save the high resolution version of this concept art two years earlier. Thereby, I (re)publish this concept art under fair use for preservation.
That's all what I wanted to tell about both pictures. Isn't André adorable?

Pachi the Master Hench
Tumblr media
I want to disclose one of my childhood memories that I remember fondly with this piece of fan art I have done. This one is a Mix Master fan art depicting what I consider the most notable Hench, Pachi. Surprisingly, this is the first Mix Master fan art to be posted in Tumblr.
If anyone asks me what Mix Master is, it is an obscure franchise that was spawned from a 2003 free-to-play MMORPG with monster-taming mechanics titled Mix Master: King of Cards (also known as MixMaster Online). Two years later, Mix Master: King of Cards got its own South Korea-Japan co-produced anime series adaptation. In Spain, it is known as "Mix Master: El Rey de las Cartas" and its localization was made by Spanish dubbing studio Babalúvox. The anime series was followed by another co-produced animated series, titled Mix Master: Final Force. Unlike its predecessor, Mix Master: Final Force has never been released in Spain (if I'm not mistaken), Pachi had a significantly minor role, and most of the main characters never made a comeback.
I recall that, when I attempted to search the anime series by using its title in Spanish in a privacy-focused search engine, the search results were manipulated to display off-topic, clickbaity articles relating to Spanish deck of cards, possibly via spamdexing. Luckily, this scarcely happened to the search results regarding Pachi.
If anyone wonders who Pachi is, he is a small caninelike Hench that is one of the main characters of the first anime adaptation, the former partner Hench of Ditt Lee and the younger brother of the previous Master Hench. Pachi appears to be based on the carbuncle, a mythological animal in South American folklore that is associated with gemstones. He is known for his cheeky and sarcastic personality, which gives him more attitude than Ash's Pikachu. I remember that, when I was a child (namely in early childhood), I used to think Pachi was female due to his eyelashes and the fact that he is voiced by a voice actress.
That's all what I wanted to express my opinion on Mix Master with this fan art. Thoughts on this obscure South Korean franchise? Besides, I think this fan art I have made is an attempt to draw Pachi...

The Portrait of André (2024)
Tumblr media
"Still André, but he's cute." —Alvy Ray Smith, creator of André and director of The Adventures of André & Wally B., during a lecture titled "Design at Large - Alvy Ray Smith, From Pixels to Pixar".
I really miss some genuine André & Wally B. fans, such as Daniel Slade (also known as DanSlade2004 and StinkyOneDan; best known for creating near-perfect models of André & Wally B. characters and producing computer-animated fan-made short films prior to February 2022) and DoggmanJake33 (also known as Jake the Second, CrazyTrainJake22 and a few more aliases; notable for being the creator of the lost, cancelled fan-made animated series André & Wally B. The Series!). Some André & Wally B. fans lose interest on The Adventures of André & Wally B. by either getting obsessed on a more popular franchise (e.g. Sonic the Hedgehog and VeggieTales) or simply making this interest transient. How about my status as an André & Wally B. fan? I had been obsessed with André since mid May 2020 until September 23, 2023. As of this day, I am no longer obsessed with André, but that doesn't mean that I have lost interest on The Adventures of André & Wally B. In spite of having become a fan of an indie game that uses a similar cartoonish style, I will keep posting André & Wally B. fan labor to avoid disappointing the remaining André & Wally B. fans that seek fan labor.
Speaking of André & Wally B. fan labor, if anyone asks me where the current profile picture of my Tumblr account (i.e. the one that has been in use since January 16, 2024) comes from, here is another fan art of The Adventures of André & Wally B. As its title implies, this is a portrait of the humanoid character that I have made in anticipation of the upcoming 40th anniversary of the animated short film. I acknowledge that this fan art's flaw is in the character's right arm. In compensation of this, I have also done a headshot/user avatar version of this fan art:
Tumblr media
Thoughts on this fan art that I have made about this cartoon character? I have made this to prove that I am still an André & Wally B. fan after all.
In the end, for every animatophile, the Pixar fans, and even the André & Wally B. fans, stay tooned tuned for more fan labor, including the short's upcoming 40th anniversary.

Aledis the Blue Yorkie
Tumblr media
Meet Aledis, a Littlest Pet Shop OC (original character) that I created on October 2019. Before I could tell information about this character, I like to say what I have done on February 2, 2024 in the morning. Initially, I was going to archive more files that I considered necessary and that were only found in a desktop computer that used to run Windows 7. Unfortunately, when I started up said desktop computer, I found out that it has been broken down sometime after the end of support of the Professional and Enterprise volume licensed versions, making most of them lost media. What a pity that I couldn't archive them before that software rot!
In compensation of what happened to the older computer, I had to write the following information of this original character from memory:
Name: Aledis
Age: More or less the same as Brown Yorkie
Species: Dog (Yorkshire Terrier)
Gender: Cisgender female
Personal gender pronoun: She/Her
Alignment: Social good
Likes: Literature (especially fiction books and poems), rationalism, science (especially physics) and art
Dislikes: Pseudoscience, fringe theories, blockchain and similar concepts, negative evaluation
Description: Aledis is a blue-furred Yorkshire Terrier that is commonly seen wearing a wreath of flower in her left ear and a green bandana in one of her forelegs. She also has a white star-shaped birthmark that is slightly hidden in her neck's fur. Namewise, Aledis' attitude is described as being intelligent, innovative, progressive, adventurous, and slightly rebellious. As a result, Aledis herself is feminist and will fight for animal rights. Despite being a ratter, Aledis can spare the lives of rodents, including mice and rats. However, she has fear of negative evaluation and a slight spatial anxiety. In some occasions, she is able to take one for the team when necessary. She is depicted as the cousin of Brown Yorkie and is rational enought to be skeptical about magic and paranormal events.
Biography: Aledis was born in Pets Plaza (a place that is found exclusively on the 2008 video game adaptation of Littlest Pet Shop) along with her two siblings. One day, Aledis was suddenly become displaced from her original dimension. To make matters worse, she discovers that the planet she is sent to, the Glade of Dreams, contains hostile beings that are more dangerous compare to that of her native parallel world. In order to deal with it, Aledis uses the survival skills her mother taught earlier. During the journey, she meets a like-minded dweller of the Glade of Dreams that she befriends. Eventually, both of them are sent to a more peaceful world and, over time, she befriends two more female nonhuman characters from different parallel universes.
If anyone asks when Aledis appeared for the first time, the earliest drawings featuring her were first posted on Rayman Pirate Community, as I have a currently inactive account and Aledis used to be the co-mascot of this account along with a Rayman OFC (original female character). As drawn in an approximately five-year-old paper, she originally looked like this in an old artstyle:
Tumblr media
Yes, the older picture is a model sheet in the form of traditional art, and it is written in Spanish. By January 2023, I have improved this art style to the current one (such as the digital art I have made for Aledis) so that I removed these drawing quirks found on her head for consistency. Therefore, it's time to give her a chance to make a comeback.

Deranged Pizzaiolo
Tumblr media
"Okay you look-a right here! I baked that into a pizza ONCE and nobody can ever know. Not even the health inspector. Capeesh?" Peppino Spaghetti, via Toppinbot.
Today is the 1st anniversary of Pizza Tower, so I had to post fan art of this indie game in this day. This time I could celebrate the anniversary of a specific work on time.
As its title implies, the subject of this fan art is Peppino Spaghetti, an Italian pizzamaker who is the protagonist of said indie game. Despite being a middle-aged heavyset balding man, Peppino has superhuman speed and strength. Peppino is also best known for his mental health, as he is usually seen being either scared or angry. Due to his expressiveness, Peppino is proven to be a relatable character, no matter the age or even the size he has.
I acknowledge that this is my first attempt to draw Peppino with the use of digital painting, including but not limited to a graphic tablet and a raster graphics editor with support for layers. Every time I draw Peppino, regardless if the drawing is digital art or traditional art, I have butterflies in my stomach. I remember that I managed to draw his face in a paper in late December 2023. Even so, the most difficult part was drawing Peppino's mouth when opened, as it required measures and references in order to get the desired result. Of course, I have difficulties with drawing above-average weight characters but I can improve this specific skill through trial and error.
It is possible that I will post more Pizza Tower fan arts (and possibly more Pizza Tower fan labor) in the near future, as a specific fan art of Peppino from Newgrounds had taken me down to the Pizza Tower rabbit hole as of September 23, 2023. And, yes, this is evidenced by a ton of Pizza Tower-themed posts that I liked en masse. In short, I am pleased to celebrate this anniversary of this indie game with a suitable fan art.

Mickey Mouse versus André
Tumblr media
The following fan art that is meant to celebrate the centennary of The Walt Disney Company asks the following question, "What if Mickey Mouse as depicted in Plane Crazy meets André (André & Wally B.)?"
In my opinion, the result is a confrontation between two cartoon characters. Mickey Mouse (left) is seen staring at André (right), as the former appears to treat him like an outsider due to the fact that cartoon characters from the early 20th century are generally anthropomorphic animals.
It is wholeheartedly true that André is inspired by Mickey Mouse, specifically the design that was used for Plane Crazy and The Gallopin' Gaucho. Aside of species, what differentiates André from Mickey Mouse is that the former debuted in a computer animated short film whereas the latter first appeared in a black-and-white traditionally animated short film?
And yes, this isn't the first time that there is a unofficial crossover of The Adventures of André & Wally B. with the Mickey Mouse universe. To sum up, I decided to post this piece of fan art to celebrate Disney 100 as well as Mickey Mouse's fate to enter the public domain.
Mickey Mouse © The Walt Disney Company (copyright and trademark holder), Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks (creators). However, older versions of Mickey Mouse will have entered the public domain by January 1, 2024. André > The Adventures of André & Wally B. © Pixar (formerly Lucasfilm Computer Graphics) and Lucasfilm (both owned by The Walt Disney Company)
UPDATE (occurred at January 2, 2024): Six days after this post was uploaded, I managed to fix some oversights that were found at the time it was originally posted. This is the first time I could edit a post that I had uploaded before.

Sapphie, Jewelpet of Friendship
Tumblr media
After posting fan arts depicting characters that are either male or gender-neutral, I decided to use a female character as the subject of this fan art I have recently made. For those who haven't known what is Jewelpet, it is a Japanese media franchise and toy line about magical animals that are named after birthstones, jewels and minerals. Jewelpet is the first collaboration between Sanrio and Sega Toys, the latter being a subsidiary of Sega Sammy Holdings.
I remember that I had once looked up one of the hashtags that is associated to the media franchise in question in this website, but the amount of Jewelpet fan arts in Tumblr turns out to be scarcer when compared to the hashtags about more popular media franchises. This makes me inspired to create this piece of fan art from scratch.
This character in particular is Sapphie, a very quiet and discreet Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She has interest on both science and magic, and her Jewel Power is Friendship, hence the artwork's title. For one reason, I used Sapphie as the subject of this fan art because she is my favorite Jewelpet character.
I had started this Jewelpet fan art yesterday and I managed to complete it today. Despite this, this piece of digital art wasn't exempted of revisions, as I had to use a concept art of this character as a reference in order to get more convincing results. I hope fans of Sanrio characters and even Jewelpet fans will like this piece of fan art I have made.

The Original LPS Video Game Trio
Tumblr media
It has been one month and twenty days since a video game based on a brand of Hasbro toys, namely the first Littlest Pet Shop video game, has turned 15 years. This piece of fan art was completed in the same day as this video game's European release turned 15 years. As I have been inactive on this website for more than a month, I had to post it late, though.
In order to celebrate both the video game in question and the Generation 2 of Littlest Pet Shop, I had to use the starter pets as subjects of this fan art. These starter pets are Jack Rabbit (left), Brown Yorkie (middle) and Shorthair Cat (right). Out of these Littlest Pet Shop characters, my favourite Littlest Pet Shop character is Brown Yorkie and it has been my favourite character of this franchise since 2007.
Despite some errors in the drawing (especially some of Jack Rabbit's proportions), I managed to draw them correctly, especially Brown Yorkie, in a detailed way. I hope everyone, including the Littlest Pet Shop fans, like this piece of fan art I made it.

The problem with two werewolf-themed YouTube videos
The following post is intended to complain about two YouTube videos in particular, which are "André (André & Wally B.) Turns Into A Werewolf" and its crudely made making-of companion "Message about the previous video". Although I refrain from making destructive criticism by using a Generation Z slang in particular (due to my stressfull experiences with Internet trolls and those that dedicate to commit copyright infrigement/art theft by posting art that I had made many years earlier on walls of shame, always doing agaisnt my will), I don't hesitate to express my resentment towards an underaged YouTuber who has been responsible for posting these two videos. However, in order to aim at the top of Graham's hierarchy of disagreement as I complain, I decided not to mention the uploader's name, not even his pseudonym.
On April 30, 2023, the cliché-ridden transformation video "André (André & Wally B.) Turns Into A Werewolf" and the behind-the-scenes "Message about the previous video" were uploaded on YouTube. The former is the first transformation video to depict an André & Wally B. character, but it does not mean that it is the actual first transformation media to depict such character. The first transformation media to insert André & Wally B. characters is actually a comic that was published on Instagram on late 2021, hidden as a easter egg that was just shy of two different comics made by different authors.
I discovered the existence of "André (André & Wally B.) Turns Into A Werewolf" on May 6, 2023, when I visited YouTube to check if there are more André & Wally B. fanworks. It had 168 views and two likes at the time I discovered this video. Despite its shock value, I reluctantly watched partially the video, up to the same still that the one that serves as the video's thumbnail. All scenes where my favourite character suffered this unexplained lycanthropy induced me secondhand embarrassment. As a result, I find "André (André & Wally B.) Turns Into A Werewolf" distasteful and it has been a disaster waiting to happen that went materialized since it was uploaded. That is to say, this YouTube video is one of the concerns I have when an unpopular character can receive potentially inappropiate content that in the worst cases can result in psychotraumatization. As this video goes to a slow but ongoing rise to status as a most-viewed YouTube video, I grow so tired of the video that I didn't hesitate to urge my paternal cousin to order YouTube to remove the video. The first thing she did is to report the video according to its shock value, only for the video to get off scot-free by receiving a simple study. After I learned the existence of "Message about the previous video" (and becoming aware of the still it attached which also induced me embarrassment), I wrote a complaint letter to the YouTube staff. However, instead of giving the uploader two strikes, the YouTube staff indolently ignored my complaints by merely giving me instructions. Not wanting these videos to become viral, I urged my cousin again, this time to order said video hosting website to take both videos down under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Nevertheless, the YouTube staff did nothing in practice, allowing "André (André & Wally B.) Turns Into A Werewolf" and "Message about the previous video" to get away scot-free again. That was my last straw, so I decided to post it to express my feelings on this YouTuber's now controversial videos.
Tumblr media
The drawing that is attached to the post, titled "André (André & Wally B.) Can't Condone Lycanthropy Videos Featuring Himself as a Victim" or simply "André and YouTube's Problem with Content Moderation", is based on the real-life events when I discovered the video and what my thoughts on these videos in particular are. According to this comic, André discovered "André (André & Wally B.) Turns Into A Werewolf" when he searched for André & Wally B.-related videos. He winced when he partially watched the video, so André was convinced that "André (André & Wally B.) Turns Into A Werewolf" is uploaded to insult both André himself and the André & Wally B. fandom. What he did in response to this apparent anti-fan film? Take revenge. In order to remove "André (André & Wally B.) Turns Into A Werewolf" and "Message about the previous video" from YouTube, he attempted to urge YouTube to take down these videos. In spite of that, YouTube ignored his claims, much to André's frustration. Then, André contemplated complaining about YouTube's decisions and the videos in question in a non-Google social network service.
The reason why "André (André & Wally B.) Turns Into A Werewolf" and "Message about the previous video" deserve to be taken down from YouTube include, but not limited to, their status as shock videos (especifically being in the Elsagate category), lack of proper fair use on the description (which render them copyright infrigement as a result) and a blank description that doesn't justify these details (including the author's opinion on the 1984 animated short film) at all. The YouTube staff should have removed these videos due to their questionable content but, due to YouTube being owned by Google, the YouTube staff is so intransigent that they just want to make money with a high quantity of videos (and, as a result, a lack of content moderation). As a result, the underaged YouTuber should remove his own two videos under the consideration of the mental health of both children and neurodivergent fans of André & Wally B.
Message to the author of "André (André & Wally B.) Turns Into A Werewolf" and "Message about the previous video": If you are looking at this post, please DO NOT make a personal attack on me NOR make a reaction video to this post in particular. Your werewolf transformation videos, especially "André (André & Wally B.) Turns Into A Werewolf" and its companion "Message about the previous video", are in the crosshairs of controversy because these videos affect negatively on the mental health of both children and André & Wally B. fans. Please mind that not everyone likes these types of videos you upload, so certain ones like me will find your werewolf videos distasteful. While it is okay to post a transformation content featuring a human turning into André, media containing André turning into something else is totally unacceptable. Therefore, "André (André & Wally B.) Turns Into A Werewolf" and "Message about the previous video" are wrongdoings and your biggest mistakes, so they don't deserve to remain in YouTube indefinitely. In summary, don't take this post personally, but remove the videos in question from YouTube for goodness' sake.
I don't own the inoffensive screenshot of "André (André & Wally B.) Turns Into A Werewolf" that appears on the comic, as the use of this work-safe still is fair use. A Tatsugiri In The Coast
Tumblr media
After at most a week of inactivity, I managed to complete a Pokémon-themed digital art. This Pokémon in particular is called Tatsugiri and it is Dragon/Water type, as well as it is based on sushi.
Originally I was going to draw a different Pokémon that was related to any of events but, due to its complexity, I had to make a different Pokémon fan art. This one depicts Tatsugiri, which has been my favourite Dragon-type Pokémon (and one of my favourite Pokémon that were introduced in the Generation IX) since mid November 2022.
It depicts a Tatsugiri in Curly Form. This one is located in a coast, especifically one that is from a lagoon.
The most difficult part of this piece of art is the head proportions, so I had to strive to correctly draw Tatsugiri by using a reference. Well, I hope every one, including Pokémon fans, will like this fan art I made that appreciates this Pokémon in particular.

Grand Prix del verano Mascot in LPS Style
Tumblr media
🎵Va a empezar, ya está aquí. Lo que más te gusta a ti…🎵
What? A post paying tribute to a Spanish game show that was introduced in the mid 1990s? For those who don't know what it is, this is a prime-time television show called El Grand Prix del verano. It was broadcasted on La 1 for eleven seasons and, after being broadcasted on some regional broadcasters of FORTA for three seasons, a revival of this television show was broadcasted on La 1. The most striking part of El Grand Prix del verano is the use of a domestic bovine (which is referred to as "vaquilla," which literally means "heifer" in Spanish) as its mascot. Regarding the revival itself, which has been broadcasted since the summer of 2023, it is the most politically correct out of all seasons in terms of animal welfare. That is to say, actual heifers are absent. This compensates with costumed performers dressed as the mascot. In my opinion, I think using costumed characters are better than using actual bovines in game shows.
As a result, I decided to draw a fan art of the mascot of El Grand Prix del verano. As a Littlest Pet Shop fan, I drew the heifer in Littlest Pet Shop style. While I use the design of the heifer as depicted in the revival, the style is reminiscent of the G2 Littlest Pet Shop style. Judging by the symbols in the heifer's eyes, this style is specifically the one that was used between the years 2007 and 2008. Besides, I rarely draw bovine animals, so it was my first attempt to draw such animal.
Thoughts about this drawing? I will respect your opinion if you don't like El Grand Prix del verano. I don't mind this Spanish game show, but I laugh every time this fictional heifer mooed.

39th Anniversary of The Adventures of André & Wally B.
Tumblr media
This is the first time I post in Tumblr. On July 25, 2023, my favourite short film, The Adventures of André & Wally B., turned 39 years and I, a fan of this animated short film, celebrated its anniversary by completing this piece of fan art.
This fan art depicts André, the humanoid boy, and Wally B., the bumblebee, celebrating the short film they debuted with a birthday cake. The cake in question is made of honey and cookies with cream and raspberry flavors.
Sorry for having posted it many days latter than expected, but I hope everyone likes this André & Wally B. fan art I have made.
