More CHEAP makeup (REVIEW)
1. Lip gloss from Daiso ( PHP 88 )
   - For something worth 88 pesos, and it’s a cute color btw (Orange Beige), I’d give it a high rating. I’ve used it twice, and I like it. So far, it doesn’t have a bad effect on my lips, it works nicely, it smells good and not to mention, it’s cheap. 8/10 since I’m not a huge fan on working on my lips.
2. White Eyeliner from Nichido (PHP 80)
   - I recommend Nichido to those girls who are just beginning to get into makeup because Nichido is one of the drug store makeup line that sells good and cheap makeup. Applying white liner on your bottom water line makes an illusion that your eyes get bigger. This one did an okay job since it’s not that well-pigmented but it still did a good job. 7/10
3. Oval Spoon Brush from Daiso ( PHP 188 )
   - If you’re new at makeup like me, I recommend you buy oval spoon brushes in Miniso because they offer three bruses for 299 I think. I bought mine for 188 in Daiso and I don’t think it’s really worth the prize. It doesn’t really blend well, when brushed, it leaves faint line marks of the brush so it’s not that nice. 5/10
4. Concealer Stick from Ever Bilena (PHP 100)
   - THIS IS SUCH A GREAT CONCEALER. Not to mention it’s cheap af. It works well with my sheer foundation, it has a really good coverage. It really does its job with covering my dark circles. 9/10
5. Peach Blush from Nichido (PHP 68)
   - A light colored blush, it’s not that pigmented but that’s okay since you don’t need circular red spots on your cheeks. It gives a fresh from the sun look, its great for photos taken during sunset or sunrise. It’s really cute and I do recommend it. 8/10
6. Bobbie Travel Brush Set (PHP 99)
   - This set is very cheap, it doesnt really have the best quality but i guess for its price, it’s already good. It consists of a powder brush, an eyebrow brush, a lip brush, an eye shadow brush with an extra eye shadow brush with those little sponge thing. 8/10. Once again, great for those who are just starting to learn :)

I hauled a bunch of Miniso products (REVIEW)
1. Charcoal Mask (around PHP 149)
   - So I’ve heard about this, people were hyped about it because it’s one of the Miniso facial care products that actually works. It’s supposed to take out blackheads but that doesn’t work for me. We all have different skin types, mine is the oily and sensitive type. However, it does freshen my skin, it feels tight when applied, and I’m guessing that’s a good thing. 7/10 for me since it doesn’t really do its job but it leaves my face glowing.
2. BB Cream (around PHP 299)
   - The BB Cream I bought was the dropper type since I’m so obsessed with products that have droppers attached. Just as I guessed, the BB cream was sheer and for me, it’s exactly the kind of BB Cream I wanted. My only problem was that I’m not exactly light skinned but not that dark either. In a way, two shades lighter than a morena. And, Miniso offered foundation and BB Cream for light skinned people. Their tones were very few, ranging up to three shades only. The darkest they had was Warm Nude, and was still a little lighter than my skintone. 7/10.
3. Mini Poni Loose Powder (around PHP 199)
   - Rather than loose powder, for me, it works like an ordinary powder placed on my face when I’m lazy. I used it for finishing touches, or when I need to bake my face. It doesn’t do much baking, but the matte effect it gives does last for a while. 7.5/10
4. Pink Panther Beauty Blenders (around PHP 179)
   - Really cute, affordable tiny sponges great for beginners. As of now, I don’t have much of a problem with them, they’re really adorable not to mention cheap since a beauty blender usually costs at around PHP 99-200 for ONE. But for PHP 179, you get FOUR tiny beauty blenders that would really be a great start for beginners.9/10
5. Mini Poni Mascara (around PHP 199)
   - This was probably my least favorite product that I bought because I really thought it’d be good, but the applicator was a bummer. It’s a short applicator with tiny and only a few thorns (idk what they’re called) sticking out, it causes my eyelashes to stick together, and it leaves gunk. So, uh, no thanks. 4/10

Review on Hataraku Saibou
Hataraku Saibou or Cells at Work, was released summer this year. Everyone was so hyped about it because it was a unique anime, on contrary to the anime we see often. I heard it was labelled as a ‘gem’ of the season.
I’ve read good things about Cells at Work and I was also hyped about it. Not to mention I’m a Medical Laboratory Science student, which only made it a hundred times better so I can better understand the anime.
The first and most important thing I’d like to say about Cells at Work is that it is too fast paced. A lot of things happened in a span of thirteen episodes which I really don’t think was enough, it would have been better to extend it up to twenty or twenty five.
Next, the anime really did live up to it’s name. It focused mainly on the types of cells and their function in the human body. I’m pretty sure it did provide the right information starting from the RBC all the way to the NK Cell. However, my problem was that it did not provide enough, it lacked infromation on some of the cells, there were a few holes here and there regarding the info given.
Overall, I do consider the anime unique. It’s the first I’ve heard and seen something like that. It had the right amount of sense of humor and the moe. Ah yes, the moe. The platelets were too adorable to begin with, whenever they appeared, I thought of them as the epitome of innocence. The main protagonist, RBC was also cute at oftentimes since she was clumsy, she was a crybaby, yet she gives it her all.
I’d rate it a 7 out of 10. I recommend it for upcoming medical students to watch it during their free time.
