Hello, hello!

...and, perhaps... goodbye?

If you know of Bondee, then you know that despite the many changes in the app in the recent months... that its popularity has continued to dwindle.

Still, I tried to hold on as much as I could... checking in from time to time.

However, I unexpectedly lost access to the email address that I've been using to log onto Bondee a few months ago.

Of course, there are other ways to log onto the app— via phone number. This worked fine for quite a while, I'd say. So I was still able to log on.

Still, I felt like this way of logging in was not as secure as having an email address back up so I contacted Bondee a total of four times about changing my email address with the reason being I am unable to access the old email address that I'd initially used to log onto the app.

Sadly, my inquiries remained unanswered. The first two were actually answered by their AI chat and I was able to reply to the in-app chat about my inquiry. I even included screenshots about said issue. However, as I understand, it was around that time that many features were being added onto Bondee and I figured I would just wait for the company to eventually address my concerns once they had the time for it.

A month later, I tried again using the same in-app query but I no longer got a reply. Again, this was still okay because I was still logged onto the app.

Naturally, for the heck of it, I tried again. I emailed them!

Unfortunately, I didn't get any replies either.

Still, life went on since I was still able to log in via phone numner!

So, yay!

...Then comes this week.

Tried logging in again this week but the whole logging in process has changed too! It actually looks good because now you can log in via Google, etc.— just like other apps.

However, there is that one problem I have wherein I no longer have access to said original email address.

So in the end, I took it as a sign to give up and finally bid this social media app goodbye.

I actually managed to hold on for almost two years, so. I wouldn't say it was a complete waste of time.

Also, I still have a lot of scheduled Bondee posts for this tumblr account so those would still continue even after today.

In addition, as I am still in the process of migrating from Twitter, all the posts on Twitter re: Bondee that I haven't transferred onto this site will still eventually be transferred at one point or another after today.

Hence, I guess that means this tumblr account isn't completly dead.

Still, I figured I should still write a note about it because obviously, all posts from here on out would be old posts that are simply being transferred from Twitter soooo

I guess this account isss semi dead alright.

Wow. Just in time for Halloween, right?
