In regards to the actual week.

Someone pointed out that it might be better to have a few weeks to write out the prompts or to work on whatever it is that you are doing for Bechloe week. I think that’s a great idea, I also felt like we’ve waited so long already so why wait longer, but if it’s more helpful for you we can set the week back a few days.

We're up and running!

I've decided to take over since the original bechloe week account has been unresponsive these past few weeks. I hope all is well with them, but in the meantime, follow this account for updates and plans for the next upcoming weeks.

We'll do suggestions starting today (July 16) and end on Saturday (July 22) depending on what the input looks like.

Voting will start the following Sunday (July 23) and go until Wednesday (July 26).

The official week will start the following Monday (July 30th) and go for the next week, ending on Monday August 6th.

Bechloe Week 2023 Submissions

From today, July 16th, to, July 22nd, prompt submissions are open.

You can now submit your prompt ideas to be used for Bechloe Week it can be done through a message, or an ask. Anon is ok for subs not votes. Due to the decreasing number of people still around, everyone should send 7 prompt ideas so we have more to vote on.

"Prompt submissions should be a word, feeling, idea, etc - something that can be interpreted in lots of different ways" -Original Bechloe Week. This still stands! Be open and have room to grow.

Avoid specific scenarios/prompts. Prompts may be excluded if they have been selected in the past.

Prompts that were used for Bechloe Week in the past few years include soulmates, single parents, "Chloe would never allow that”, , kiss cam, and lost ring.

July 16th through July 22nd will be the submission days!!
