behind the scenes'ing the last chapter of epistolary, which currently stands at 13k words

i had to break this damn thing up into parts with their own separate headers of the overarching "thing" that happens, which felt absurd but there was zeroooooo way i could edit 13k words in one sitting.

my drafting process usually involves one or two points of just rewriting the chapter entirely by putting a blank doc against what ive already written and just. going at it. so breaking it up really helped with that, but i still feel like its in the dialogue-heavy stage of drafting and kind of incomplete re: actually setting the scene

hopefully ill stick the landing in the end but finishing something is hardddd, let alone finishing something that i have been working on so diligently! it feels so wild to think that ive managed 73k words over the past four and a half months but im very proud of what ive done! hopefully i do not pull a stephen king and botch the ending.

and ofc thank you to everyone who has kudos'ed or commented or sent in asks, i seriously would not have finished this without that kind of support, so it means the world that y'all have been on this journey with me :)
