This was a pattern from a beginners crochet book that I used DMC cotton thread for instead of yarn
it's not perfect but she's adorable ^-^
Whats your favorite piece you've made? Reblog with a picture, tag me, send it to me. You deserve praise for your work.
#my work#crochet#there are some cross stitch projects I'm proud of but they were gifts and i kinda want them to stay just for the people i gave them to

btw I’ve found these stretches from the WAK blog very helpful when knitting a lot:
Plus make sure to take breaks regularly - and stop if anything starts to hurt!
especially with gift knitting I know it can be tempting to push through it for a deadline, but it’s really not worth causing long term injury. (And anyone knit-worthy should be understanding of that, imho.) Stay well :)

Rex here has been buried in my drafts folder for awhile now, but I finally dug him up and finished designing him. Blackwork embroidery on black 14-count Aida cloth.

Here he is before I stitched the outlines, and I think part of me likes him better this way. The bones have different fill motifs, but they aren't starkly delineated textbook-style.
Pattern here or here.

Having a Mushroom Moment....
Most of my more popular posts this last month have been mushroom related! You guys will probably like this video tutorial for Twisted Yarn's Magic Mushroom Stitch.

It produces imo a really well-defined mushroom shape.
