Grandmother.

Her grandmother is someone who Lillie isn’t close to at all, and doesn’t enjoy talking to. For years, she’s heard about how awful her father was for leaving them, and that she doesn’t resemble her mother at all, and how much of a shame that is. 

No matter what she does, it isn’t good enough, and Lillie hates hearing it over and over again.

Lillie doesn’t remember much as far as her father goes, the little memories she does have of him- are mostly from her younger childhood when he would play with her, and tell her stories at night. 

Despite this, she looks up to him greatly and misses him tremendously. If she could, she would love to have him back in her life, and though he was never found dead, she’s accepted that she will never get to see her father again.

He was a kind and honest man, who loved and valued his family above everything and wanted his children to have the world. He loved life, and lived it to the fullest. Traits that Lillie tries to incorporate in her life.

“Yes, I’m sorry!” Lillie took a step in, saying good bye to the castform that had appeared. “It was nice talking to you, be safe!”

It was obvious he had them both running in circles. Despite this and his obvious confusion, Lillie smiled and took him by the hand, pulling him along.

“Don’t worry, I know a good spot where we won’t be spotted.” It was just around a corner or two, and across a small bridge over a stream, grass splitting open into a small circle, where flowers bloomed around and the sun was shinning over them. 

“We can practice here, is that okay?” She turned to him, becoming serious in her expression. “I’m ready to learn how to be funny!”

‘ Hurry up! We’re going to get drenched if we stay out here! ’

“Wa- wait up Barry..!” Lillie was trying her hardest to catch up to the boy, holding onto her hat as the wind howled and blew hard against her. “My shoes aren’t made for running, and my-!” A particular huge gust blew her over, her hand slipping away from her hat for a second, but already it was in the air.

“My hat!”

“Mother.. I would much prefer my pink dress to this white one-” Lillie tried speaking up, but the woman continued to hum a wordless melody, fixing the tresses and lace on this white dress she’d received from her earlier that day. A hat was soon situated on her head, and Lillie’s eyes cast downward.

“I love it.. thank you..”
