Look, I agree that trying to sell folks on original fiction by citing fanfic tropes is asinine, but at least "oh, it's got enemies to lovers!" tells you something substantive about the plot and characters. I once had somebody try to convince me to read a work of original fiction by telling me that it has a romance with a height gap.

I'm asexual. I'm proud of it! I don't feel sexual attraction, and I like space and dragons and I have a ring I should be wearing. I'm proud because I settled into it and just existing like this seems to catch others off guard.
My asexuality is a big part of me, that fades into the background. I don't feel this, but it's okay. It's okay that I don't even want to!
