My feelings toward B'Elanna and Tom as a couple are very complicated... Like they're kind of terrible together and rarely on the same page about literally anything but at the same time I can't picture either of them with anyone else.

I hate the EMH's holographic family episode because I hate when Star Trek's answer to making something complicated is killing your daughter and seeing what happens (see: Lwaxana Troi, Lt. Data, Gul Dukat, Dr. M'Benga, etc.) BUT (and I can’t believe I am saying this) Tom Paris really pulls together that episode with his emotional intelligence. When the EMH is ready to write off having a family forever and Tom is like "actually, doctor, you are depriving yourself of the opportunity to be loved and supported by your family" is just like. HELLO? I love that boys have feelings in the future

The aliens discover "Dad jokes."
Your human commander tells one terrible pun. Now the entire crew of hardened, war-born aliens are addicted to wordplay. The warship is renamed “Pun-isher.” Morale is high. Sanity is low.

STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE // S2E19 Judgment My father was a teacher. My mother, a biologist at the university. They encouraged me to take up the law. Now, all young people want to do is to take up weapons as soon as they can hold them. They're told there is honor in victory – any victory. What honor is there in a victory over a weaker opponent? Had Duras destroyed that ship, he would have been lauded as a hero of the Empire for murdering helpless refugees. We were a great society, not so long ago. When honor was earned through integrity and acts of true courage, not senseless bloodshed.

I love Teal'c putting on the sunglasses and spraying Daniel with the water gun at the end of the episode. He's so silly :)

John going to a prisoner and convincing said prisoner to be fed upon (and killed) by the wraith immediately after McKay suggests he be the one to sacrifice himself is something we don’t discuss enough. John didn’t just say no, he literally manipulated a man into giving up his life and, while we won’t get into how wrong that is, we will get into the lengths he will go for Rodney and Rodney’s family because what do you meaaaaan?????

Surprised to see not that many people talking about a lot of Jax's anger coming from a loss of bodily autonomy?
That struck me as a huge thing from this episode. From first the vegan joke to how he gets noticeably distressed from it at the bar, to realizing his tail is gone, even the maid outfit section, Jax clearly doesn't like being controlled. He tends to roll with the punches during adventures, or finds ways to have fun otherwise, but when its his own body being changed against his will, thats when he gets actually upset beyond the point of masking it with being an ass

A while back, I rewatched SGA - Enemies At The Gate (after 7 years) for writing purposes because I needed to see the character development of Sam after her dismissal and replacement as leader of Atlantis. How did she cope? What were her next responsibilities? etc
Throughout the entire episode, something irked me. First, I couldn’t put my fingers on it. Then it hit me in the face (with a 2′x2′).
That was not the Samantha Carter I knew and loved. It was a hybrid of Samantha Carter & Helen Magnus.
Why?
I’ll explain on the thread below.

1) She wears her shirt open. I cannot remember a single instance in ten years on SG-1.

2) Her hair. It’s not tamed in a braid. It flows and with the two curls hanging beside her face, she looks more like Helen. Sam always made sure her hair wouldn’t obstruct or annoy her in battle. Even in SGU, her hair looks more like “I’m military and have a job to do”.
3) Make-up. If you watch the episode, you notice that her skin glows more than usual. Her lashes are longer and have more volume (for a lack of a better word). Even her lipstick looks a bit brighter.

4) Her smile. Don’t get me wrong, SG-1 Sam has a smile that lights up my soul and could power the Stargate alone. But there is always a shy, hesitant quality to it that makes her adorable. However, here, her smile is a lot more sensual and self-confident which has nothing to do with character development. It’s a smile, I totally associate with Helen Magnus.
5) The body language is slightly different. I can’t describe what exactly it is. It’s just there in nuances.
I attribute the blurred lines between Sam and Helen to Amanda being busy filming Sanctuary and concentrating on her role as Helen Magnus at that time.
It’s just weird to detect two personalities and their traits blending into one.

I don’t know if this expression is quiet rage or shock at the fact Ragatha apologised to him
