Many poison type Pokémon such as Trubbish and Grimer have a negative association with being dirty. These Pokémon’s bodies are in fact designed to contain natural toxins, with very few of them naturally spreading them. These Pokémon are actually safe to keep around in natural environments, though you should avoid keeping them close to natural water sources for extended periods of time.
A notable exception is the Koffing line, with the exception of the Galarian variant of Weezing, as their bodies do naturally produce toxic chemicals. While the quantity they produce is not hazardous to humans without extended contact, the airborne nature of this toxin can cause damage to natural environments much faster than others.

Fire type Pokémon native to forested areas (such as vulpix, pansear, and talonflame) have a seemingly innate knowledge of how to fight and prevent forest fires with a controlled burn. Pokémon rangers will often try to pick up local fire types in the event of a forest fire in addition to water types for this exact reason.

Many Pokémon have safe and edible parts of their body, which cause them no harm should you need for food. Well known examples are the fruit that grow around Tropius’ necks, and the flaky skin on an Appletun’s back.
However, there are more obscure options as well. Exeggutor (both variations) produce seeds which are edible (despite myths, these seeds are not baby Exeggute.) The Tsareena line are able to produce a nutrient rich juice, as are Flapple and Cherubi. Milcery and Alcremie are able to provide parts of their body for sustenance, but it’s not particularly nutritious. The Arboliva line produce olives, which are perfectly edible. Veluza will regularly shed their own flesh willingly, making them perfect for keeping fed.
There are also many Pokémon able to produce foods with their natural behaviors. Vespiquen when provided with Combee will produce honey (if you are not already friendly with the Vespiquen, avoid this) The Blissey line are all very giving, and both Chansey and Blissey have very healthy eggs to provide. Delibird’s presents can contain food, though this is somewhat of an unreliable method of obtaining food in emergency situations. Of course I must include Miltank and it’s ability to produce the healing Moomoo Milk item.

There’s a saying that goes “take only pictures and leave only footprints” which is the ideal for camping and simply visiting a location. However, it can be much harder to follow should survival become a priority. We’ll talk about shelter in the context of this statement.
While you should never go into the wilderness without proper preparations, it is not unreasonable for unexpected conditions to arise. Should you find yourself too far from a settlement and a tent will be insufficient, it is ideal to find a cave or other solid location with an overhang. Wild pokemon can be dangerous when protecting their homes, so always be sure to keep an eye for signs of territory marking on caves you go for. Having a pokemon with you of the species that calls the cave home will often result in your safety, but will likely disrupt the pokemon’s natural pack structure and should be avoided unless necessary.
If caves are not an option, then your next best bet is to find a pokemon such as Chansey, Clefairy, Whimsicott and other pokemon known to be friendly to humans. They will often have shelter of their own they can guide you to, and will usually ask for little more than a small amount of food.
If both of these options are unavailable, and it is still imperative to find shelter, then you should look for plants with large leaves, such as those found on Lum, Wiki, and Rabuta Plants. These leaves are often large enough to provide proper covering from most weather conditions. Combine this with the fewest number of branches you need that can be safely remove from local trees, and twine or string (webbing from certain bug types works ideally as well) and you can safely and easily make a quick makeshift shelter with minimal damage to local flora.

Water types are often only found near clean water, but keeping one with you on long trips where clean water might be sparse is usually a good idea. Water produced by these pokemon is almost completely pure, with few toxins to speak of.
Pokemon that are currently or were recently afflicted by the poison condition should be given several hours (at least 2, ideally more) post application of a poison cure before producing water you intend to ingest, and water produced by the skrelp, tentacool, and mareanie lines of pokemon should be inspected before use.
Besides those, it’s also best to inspect any water produced by non water type pokemon using water type moves if you intend to ingest it, as their bodies are not designed to produce clean water.
Fire type pokemon who can control the strength of their flame and a solid pot can be used to remove many impurities in water, but should only be used as a last resort, as it can be quite difficult to tell if dangerous impurities have been boiled off. This also applies to any water created by non water type pokemon using the move scald.
