Robotnik/Eggman doesn’t seem to be too concerned with whether his sidekicks hate or love him (or both). I’ve been obsessed with the weirdness of the Sonic comics lately which made me realize Robotnik has had way more sidekicks than I thought.

I've been playing the original Pokemon Green lately and it's made me think about the Pokemon world when there was only 151 Pokemon, and about what kind of trainer stories you could tell sticking to just the first generation...

So we have a ceramicist, whose Magmar ("Raku") helps with firing and whose Grimer ("Slip") concocts the wildest glazes; A boulderer with a Graveler for practice, a Tangela for spotting, and a Chansey for a nice egg when they reach the summit; and a jeweller whose work is inspired by the bewejelled Pokemon she's been raising since she was a child.

Fun fact! The Hawaiian cultural act of wearing a flower behind the ear is used for women to signify if they are single or married/in a relationship! Based on placement, these Grimer are married XD

Third bonded pokemon, this time the pokemon is a MUK who wanted to become clean

Before anyone says anything, yes, the shiny colors are barely noticeable, I have made many shiny pokemon before with very distinctive color differences from its regular forms, it was time I made one of those where the difference is barely noticeable, it was neccesary.

It is based on the Umibōzu, a Yokai whose name translates as "Sea Monk" and the chain is placed in its hand to resemble the praying beads that buddhist monks carry
