October Resident of the Month, 2023!
This is Liv! A rescued Dolliv from a wildfire that claimed a section of the South Province in Paldea. Her leaves are healing very nicely, and she's been extremely brave throughout the entire time she's been here. Say hello!

Happy Frights and Delights from BOPRDOP!
"We want to reach out and wish everyone who participates a wonderfully spooky Halloween season! As the air becomes crisp and Autumn begins to take hold, we would like everyone to remember to be conscientious of their exposure to fires and such; we support all Pokemon, and we are delighted to see how you and your partners dress up!
Statement from BOPRDOP's PR Team
"An extra statement of caution and warning against reckless and thoughtless adoption of "aesthetically-appropriate" Pokemon to match the season. Ghost-, Dark-, Poison-, and many other types experience high levels of surrender from mistreatment of these Pokemon from gifts for loved ones, and what have you. Always do proper research before looking into rescuing, adopting, and/or breeding."
Special Statement from President E, CEO of BOPRDOP.

Hey, submitting a formal application-I have space set up for both pokemon and eggs here in Kalos, since I am a professional shelter. I can take whoever needs immediate care, since we weren't hit nearly as hard.
-meganiums-petals-pokemon-shelter
We have many Pokemon eggs that were displaced by the storms--many of which were the sole survivor of their clutch. We appreciate the application, and we will send a representative with all the appropriate incubation support, in case you need more. Thank you.

Hello again I just wanted to tell that the bug pokemon you sent have been doing very well. I saw your PSA for ice types and while I have more experience with bug pokemon. I can take some ice pokemon in I have climate controlled enclosures that I can accommodate for them. :)
Hello!
We apologize for the radio silence, as we have been coordinating clean-up efforts around the regions. However, this would be a very appreciated offer. We will be sending a representative to the drop-off area with a few Heal Balls. Again, we thank you for your willingness to help these affected Pokemon, during such an uncertain time.

hey there, me again. the pokemon you sent over last week have been doing very well so far - of course some have adjusted more than others so far, but generally they're happy in their new environment!
i saw you're in need of caretakers for ice types, which we can accomodate - we have a climate-controlled snowy area specifically for ice types - so if there are ice types that wouldn't do well with a trainer, we'll happily take them in.
Yes, that would be very much appreciated. Especially since the breaking news of Sinnoh likely being targeted next is worrying, to say the least. I will have a team of six for you, by an agent in the drop off area. Here is a brief overview of the delivery.

UHHHHHH?
I THINK I MESSED UP SOMEWHERE
-@water-pokemon-appreciator
...Okay! Y'know, you have the basics down, and I can see you have all the materials, but a few things:
While you're first starting out, have another spherical object handy for reference. Alternatively, have a heat-proof mold that you can use to shape the ball.
Cut the heat, quickly. I know it's much more tempting to let things go slowly and gradually calm things down, but you're going to want to apply a cooling source immediately so it holds its shape after cooking.
Don't be afraid to get a little unorthodox with it. Not every ball needs to be a perfectly round shape. Some may be more ovular or some with little chips or cracks. Personally, I think it's easier to differentiate between them, that way.
Keep at it, though! You're on the right track and you're going to ace it next time! (^u^) b

Note
what pokemon could you possibly have that accommodate with galar’s laws. Psychic type preferably?
We have plenty that are approved within the borders of Paldea. In fact, we have gotten reports that plenty of Paldean Pokemon brought abroad for vacationing have sustained injury. If you would like to help care for these Pokemon, both surrendered and wild, please submit an application with some credentials. If you are uncomfortable with putting your blog URL in our application system, a brief explanation of what you do, as well as your nearest Pokemon Center will also suffice. Thank you for this question!

Yes, this would be wonderful. We will need you to send in a "formal" application (ask) about eggs, but everything should be prepared for your convenience--we have all the necessary incubation materials if you do not have any on-hand. We truly cannot thank you enough for your generosity.

PSA to all available hands.
"Good" morning, to all citizens and vagabonds, alike, across the many regions.
Across the past 72 hours, we have recovered many Pokemon that have seen better days. We have skilled physicians and Pokemon experts who have been working around the clock to revive these innocent Pokemon who were caught in the crossfire of a petty war.
To all, whether trainer, caretaker, conservation expert, and many other titles, we would like to extend our hands to provide assistance to all that feel that they may be well-suited to take care of mentally exhausted Pokemon, young and old, alike. Thus, we would like to open this post to all current active members of the wider communities that will be able to take a Pokemon (the type and size of Pokemon is at your discretion.)
The safety of these Pokemon come first, so brief, rigorous background checks will need to be conducted before they are sent your way.
We have multiple pilot programs underway. You may apply for permanent adoption of young and old Pokemon, along with eggs, as well as temporary foster care while we recover from this egregious blow to our peace.

We are strapped for options for Ice-types, therefore we are going to send a team of six Heal Balls your way. An agent will be there to drop off at the location. And, remember, I will always know if these Pokemon are being properly cared for.
A brief overview will be attached, below.

Another public outreach...
We are genuinely so sorry to keep asking for so much of the wider communities, and everything happening, but we need help, once more. There are countless Ice-type Pokemon that we have no resources to accommodate. If you have the means, of know someone who does, please send them our way.

While he does not have a blog, a talk with Champion Thomas about the incident made him want to help in any way he can. Champion Thomas has experience with both out-of-region pokemon and pokemon with high psychological needs, I know you might be iffy about sending pokemon to Glitch City but please consider this request.
I can help him set up a blog for contact reasons if needed.
Thank you for offering your help. And, please, worry not about the nature of your realm. The Greninja, there, is doing just fine, are they not? Therefore, I believe a team of Pokemon that could be better cared for is a good idea, especially for those with available resources. At the point of distortion between our worlds, an agent will be there to drop off six Heal Balls. This is a brief overview of the delivery. Thank you, once again.

Is there any theory why so many of the mons that survived the storm are shiny? Does the gene affect how the pokemon reacts to whatever acid rain happens? I am actually curious.
A specific gene present within shiny Pokemon could be acting as an in-between that is allowing the Pokemon's DNA to stay largely protected from outside forces. We still are largely unsure about the nature of Shadow Pokemon, and how it interacts with the Pokemon's physiology, making all normal Pokemon either become shadow, or fall very ill. Our research is still ongoing, so please take these deductions with a grain of salt or two. Great question, however!

Hello I can take in any bug types you have. I have a lot of experience working with bug types but if needed I can take in other types as well.
Thank you very much. We truly cannot express how neglected Bug-types have been neglected, even throughout this widespread ecological disaster. We will be sending six Pokemon that have been an inseparable "found-family" unit since their arrival.
Please let us know if you can take on any more in the future. Bug-type specialists such as yourself are truly one of the stars in this scenario. An agent carrying six Heal Balls will be at a drop-off location to deliver these 'mons. A brief overview is attached below.

(@humming-pokemon-helpers)
I've got quite a few teammates on hand right now, but I would be happy to take on a short-term foster if it can help lighten the burden a bit.
As a poketherapist, I'd be happy to work with some of the displaced 'mons who've had a rougher time of it, but otherwise, my only preference is a Pokemon that can generally live well within your standard home with a yard, and isn't too startled by the presence of other Pokemon.
Very well. We have plenty that need the space to recuperate, so this is a big help. One of our agents will be at the local mail drop-off location to have your delivery waiting for you. All four will be in Heal Balls. Please let us know if/when you would like to foster any more. Below is a brief overview of the delivery.
