On the website, Mable is described as the "acting director" of the Pokémon Lab. The use of the word "acting" implies that Sycamore still technically runs/owns the place, but is currently out, and Mable is his subordinate or a friend he asked to fill in. This raises the question, where is Professor Sycamore in Legends: Z-A? Will he be gone for the entire game, or show up later?

spoilers for Masters EX Arceus Arc chapter 5
When Ethan won the final battle against Silver, my gut reaction was that it was simply because he has Protagonist Plot Armor. But then I thought back on what Silver says just before he unlocks his Arc Suit:
It's all your fault, Ethan! I never used to think about what's "right." But because of you, I started doing things the right way -- to beat you fair and square! So if there's anything righteous or pure in my heart... this is where I'll find it! Battling YOU! I'm gonna win here -- and prove... just how pure and righteous our hearts are!
Though Silver has come a long way, he is still very dependent on external motivation from Ethan to even think he could be a good person. "If there's anything good about me, it will come out when I'm with you." He is still miles away from thinking that he himself is not an inherently bad person. He thinks that doing harm is his default, and it is only when nudged by others that he can do good.
And I think that is why he lost the battle. Arceus may have acknowledged his existing power and wish to improve. But the day he beats Ethan can only be the day when he comes to accept himself as-is, and feel okay standing on his own two feet.
For all that he claims to be a loner, Silver is extremely dependent on Ethan, to a possibly unhealthy degree. I hope that in some storyline, whether in Masters EX or an official game (probably not but a girl can dream), he can complete his character arc and think of himself neutrally.

Pokémon Character Heights, According to Pokémon Scale World
Pokémon Scale World is a Japanese figure set that makes representations of Trainers and their Pokémon at 1/20 scale. This means that if we do some math, we can find out heights for some of the human characters in the Pokémon world!
So, according to this figure line, we have:
Red, Leaf, Blue, Wally, & Dawn - 140 cm / 4 feet 7 inches. Red and Blue being the same height feels wrong lol. For Dawn, this info contradicts the DPP Pokédex's height checker feature, which places her at 142 cm / almost 4 ft 8 in. Lana, Ash Ketchum, and Goh are also this height.
Allister & Rei: 144 cm / 4 ft 8 inches. Cyllene estimates the player character to be around 15 years old during Legends: Arceus. Rei is a very short 15 year old if this is accurate.
Lucas: 145 cm / 4 ft 9 in. This contradicts DPP, where he is 142 cm / almost 4 ft 8 in, the same height as Dawn.
Ethan, Juliana, Florian, Bugsy, Jasmine, Iono: 150 cm / 4 ft 11 in. Either Jasmine is a very short adult, or she's younger than I assumed. This is also Elio's height according to Gen VII concept art.
Lyra, May, Brendan, Barry: 152 cm / 4 ft 11 in. I was tickled pink to discover that Lyra is canonically a little taller than Ethan, as these measurements match up with HGSS's height checker. Also, May & Brendan are 4 inches taller than Wally, and Barry is several inches taller than Lucas and Dawn.
Gardenia: 154 cm / 5 feet almost exactly.
Silver, Gloria, Hop, Marnie, Penny, Misty: 155cm / 5 ft 1 in. Misty is short, and Silver is two inches taller than Ethan.
Red (HGSS), Blue (HGSS), Victor, Erika, Sabrina, Whitney: 160cm / 5 ft 2 in. This may seem quite short depending on where in the world you're from. However, this is about the average height for adult women in Japan, which I think is important context since the figures & characters are created by Japanese artists & developers.
Bea, Arven, Rika: 165cm / 5 ft 4 in. They are the same height as Ilima and Soliera.
Bede: 166cm / 5 ft 5 in. He's 3 to 4 inches taller than his rivals in Galar.
Cynthia: 168cm / 5 ft 6 in. She is the same height as Mina.
Brock, Blaine: 170cm / 5 ft 6 in. This is the average height for adult men in Japan. It's also the same height as Hala and Professor Burnet. (Now I'm curious to know Kukui's height, as I'm pretty sure he's taller than her, and she's already tall by Japanese standards.)
Nemona: 172cm / 5 ft 7 in. She is three inches taller than Arven, six inches taller than Penny, and a whopping eight inches / 22 cm taller than the protagonist.
Koga: 174cm / 5 ft 8 in.
Prof. Oak, Giovanni, Morty, Lance, Nessa, Piers: 175cm / 5 ft 8 in. For Piers, this contradicts SwSh concept art, which show him being about a head taller than Nessa. This is also Archie's height.
Steven: 176cm / 5 ft 9 in. Yes, Steven is taller than Archie
Leon: 180cm / 5 ft 10 in. He is the same height as Oleana.
Wallace: 183cm / 6 feet almost exactly. He's about three inches taller than Steven. #couplegoals
Volkner: 186cm / 6 ft 1 in.
Lt. Surge: 188cm / 6 ft 2 in.
Volo: 190cm / 6 ft 2 in. This matches his Legends: Arceus concept art.
Raihan: 195cm / 6 ft 4 in. No wonder he likes taking selfies, he likely always gets handed the phone in group settings.

I think the best thing ZA or a Kalos remake could do would be to help explain Lysandre's motives by:
A) giving him a backstory or
B) adding some flaws to kalosian society to give him something reasonable to be mad about
I love XY, and I disagree with the fandom's general assertion that Lysandre is the worst written villain (*cough cough* Rose). But as written in XY, he is a bit messy, and i don't think it would take much to clarify it and make it work better with the game's themes of beauty and destruction, and immortality.

Friend: What are you thinking about, Lizzie? Me: Oh, not much. My brain: it's that dude Blue, back in a new tune, smacking your whole team til you blacking out, new moon, i'm tracking a new route, you lacking the juice, dude, this SS Anne drip, I'm happy to cruise through, i act like a loose nuke, I could blow any second, I go where I'm destined, could catch me on the throne in a minute, I don't need directions, I'm rolling with a set of exceptionals, settling for second place is not an option, my crew is incredible, stacking heads on a totem like an Exeggutor and sending all your monsters to the medical, my crew is impeccable, we resistant to the flying STAB, 'Zard, Blastoise, or Venusaur, doesn't matter, whichever way, put a beam up to your chest, make you Iron Man, Solar or a Fire Blast, burn 'em like a frying pan, Hydro Pump'll wet him, send him higher than a geyser can, squad full of legends in the making, stocks rising, I got diamond hands.

Insane Pokédex Stats: Voltage
Note that voltage is not how much electricity or how strong it is. Voltage is, in a nutshell, the amount of pressure behind the electricity. Voltage can be present without an actual electrical current flowing - for example, if you touch a live wire, you get shocked even if the electricity is at the end of its flow. Voltage is what builds that electricity up, and gets you shocked. (Please note that I am NOT a scientist or electrician, this is my very rudimentary understanding from science class and the internet.)
Voltage is actually relatively unhelpful on its own in determining how electricity will impact you. (This doesn't mean that you should go around touching random high-voltage things, though; your standard high-voltage piece of machinery will likely have enough current to kill you.) However, it sounds more impressive to a layperson because the numbers are bigger. 2 amperes of electricity is enough to kill you, but on paper that doesn't sound nearly as cool as...
Jolteon: It accumulates negative ions in the atmosphere to blast out 10,000-volt lightning bolts (R&B). This is the voltage of the fences in the original Jurassic Park, so theoretically Jolteon can deter dinosaurs.
Toxtricity, Lowkey: Capable of generating 15,000 volts of electricity, this Pokémon looks down on all that would challenge it (SW).
Toxtricity, Amped: The jolts of electricity it launches by violently strumming the protrusions on its chest easily exceed 15,000 volts (V). Who knows what the amped form's maximum is, then.
Electivire: It pushes the tips of its two tails against the foe, then lets loose with over 20,000 volts of power (DP).
Raichu: Its electric charges can reach even 100,000 volts (RG).
Luxio: Upon encountering an opponent, this Pokémon prepares for battle by extending its claws, which can put out 1,000,000 volts of electricity (SH). This is the low range of lightning bolt voltage; the average for lightning is 300 million volts.
I should also mention Cap Pikachu's exclusive Z-Move, 10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt. A dub in the fight of Pikachu vs Luxio, but still a loss in Pikachu vs Real World Lightning.
Sorry there weren't as many fun comparisons in this post, but if you try to Google voltage amounts it's just a bunch of reddit threads saying "it might kill you or it could not, what's the amperage" lol

Insane Pokédex Stats: ?
I couldn't find a concise term for the title, though I'm sure it must exist. Anyway, the theme of today is, "From how far away can you sense this Pokémon's light/cry/odor/magnetic pull?"
Espurr: It has enough psychic energy to blast everything within 300 feet of itself, but it has no control over its power (Y). 91 meters. That's the length of an American football field.
Magnemite: [Its magnets] generate enough magnetism to draw in iron objects from over 300 feet away (E). Hold on to your Klefkis.
Spearow: Spearow has a very loud cry that can be heard over half a mile away (RS). 2640 ft, or 804 meters. Powerful lungs for such a tiny bird.
Duosion: Its psychic power can supposedly cover a range of more than half a mile—but only if its two brains can agree with each other (SW). I like to imagine the wacky things that must be commonplace in the Pokémon world. You walk into the kitchen. Your flour bag is floating into the air. You shrug and say, "that Duosion two blocks down must really be in sync right now," then go about your day like nothing happened.
Magneton: It raises the temperature by 3.6F degrees within 3,300 feet (YL). That's 2 degrees Celsius within 1 kilometer. You check your outdoor thermometer. It is three degrees warmer than the morning weather projected. You immediately grow excited at the prospect of facing whatever Trainer has wandered into town with a Magneton in their party.
Gloom: The horrid stench [of its flower] can cause fainting at a distance of 1.25 miles (RG). 6600 ft, or about 2 kilometers. The corpse flower (the plant Gloom and Vileplume are based on) can only be detected from a tenth of mile (528 ft/160 meters).
Stunky: The foul fluid from its rear is so revolting that it can make people feel queasy up to a mile and a quarter away (HGSS). This is roughly accurate to how far real skunk smells can carry. What I'm learning from these posts is that skunks are not to be messed with.
Lanturn: The light it emits is so bright that it can illuminate the sea's surface from a depth of over three miles (G). 4.8 kilometers. I couldn't find any reliable stats about how far the real-life anglerfish's light travels, but it does not seem to be anywhere near this distance.
Whiscash: If Whiscash goes on a wild rampage, it sets off a quake-like tremor with a radius of over three miles (SP). You can't estimate exactly how strong an earthquake is from this description alone, but it sounds impressive, I suppose.
Exploud: Its loud cries can be heard from over six miles away (FRLG). 9 kilometers. This is about how far elephant cries can carry.
Wishiwashi, Solo: The light from its eyes is visible almost 25 miles away (UM). 40 kilometers. I have to assume they mean "visible to other Wishiwashi," because that is absurd. I commute 25 miles to work every day, what do you MEAN I could see Wishiwashi from there
Ampharos: Ampharos gives off so much light that it can be seen even from space (E). What is generally considered the "beginning" of space is 62 miles above Earth, or 100 kilometers. The lights of most major cities can be seen from space; it depends on a lot of factors, though. It helps if everything around the light source is dark, because then it will stand out, and some things can be seen from low orbit but get dimmer as you get farther out. I doubt Game Freak was thinking about that when they wrote this entry, though, so who knows?
