ANNOUNCEMENT: Mod Stepping Down

It hasn’t been very long since I was the one taking up the place of Upward’s last admin. We’ve had a lot of fixes and updates, more people leaving and coming in, more than a few co-admins jumping off the boat... I wish I could do more.

Anyhow, I’m leaving--due to outside and inside reasons--which makes this base currently inactive/on hiatus. If anyone would like to take up the role as admin, please send a message to our inbox so we can sort things out. What this place really needs is active members, but I’m sure that will come along eventually!

Thank you for the opportunities and experiences here! I’m sorry for not living up to expectations, and hope the base’s emptiness will change in the near future.

Matches are suspended until either the beginning of July or until teams are balanced once more. Until then, have a short summer break. You will be expected to stay on base while you can, but vacations are permissible, so long as you fill out a form.

Those who decide to take extended leave will learn quickly from their mistakes.

We are very happy to say that after one full day (and a half) or working, we’ve finally completed the new and improved room blueprints! There were also fixes to Upward’s bottom level but room reservations are so important–

If you haven’t taken a room already, please message us stating which one you’d like for your character! Those who had a reservation beforehand have been left alone, but switches aren’t a problem. And if you don’t send us a room number at all, then that’s… disappointing.

We’ll begin pasting names onto the blueprints tomorrow. Enjoy!

The Admin’s voice is firmer this evening than it had been; during her last big reveal she’d been shaken, but as of now she’s... almost fiery with built up irritation. 

“Most of you have taken notice of de increasingly unsafe ground of RED’s drop-off area. After dis day’s match de bottom flooring has fallen apart, and derefore is deemed off-limits for de time being. REDs are recommended to use de front entrance for means of getting outside.

If anvone is caught investigating, it vill be considered a firm breakage of current rules--dey are subject to possible job termination. Do not put yourself at risk to such consequence... and do not, under any circumstances, begin pushing de bomb towards de pit until given authorization.

...Dat means: NO PUSHING DE BOMB. Spend your free time at Lake Mead, or Las Vegas, or anyvere but de final capture point. Dis will only last for a short time--dere are no plans to keep you out of vork for a month.”

Eyes closing, the woman sucks in a deep breath. Now to add the potato to her meat stew.
