Listen, I have discovered that there is a method to avoid being yoinked. Make it look like you have already been yoinked and your owner is just nearby or you're doing something for them. The downside is that you have to wear a collar, but as long as you can keep your composure, they will never suspect a thing. It also helps if you look like you're on a bunch of xenodrugs. There is a second downside that if you are discovered and don't have a way out and a backup living argument prepared (which you should always have one just in case) you will not be taking that collar off and they will joke about saying something like

"You're so cute, and you even came pre collared just for me"

So keep your eye about you and be careful

A recently domesticated floret who likes to brat just a little as a treat refuses to eat a fruit picked fresh from their Affini till after the Affini leaves the room (goes around a corner) then the floret will eat it faster then you can blink and then immediately gets blissed out

Recently rescued Feralist horrified seeing another floret wrap up in a blanket burrito a flortrito if you will thinking that they were right about the Affini eating florets

I want to give an Affini the near impossible task to trying to keep me off their lap while they are doing something that Affini will be getting a lap pet.

Imagine an Affini who at first puts your brain through the microwave ,Core cuddles the works to the point where your brain is nothing but pinck colored mush and then stops oh they will give you a taste but all of the microwaving slows down till you beg,beg for them to cook your brain more beg for that feeling you get when close to them beg for it all and then and only then will you have the rest of your brain microwaved

Independent decides not to interact with people anymore has bedroom door ripped open by Affini and taken to socialize on class A's

Also, this "independent" being very pouty about it so they are also given class D's

Is it too much to ask for to have an Affini look at me, tell me they have no idea how I survived on my own, but that it's all over I am safe now . But the Affini scares me by just appearing, so I end up hiding but not very well and the just make their way into my hiding place and cuddle me telling me to take my time and it's ok.

Ways to get yoinked in the most fun ways instead

Of just asking

Look very cute to an Affini, so anyone and just stand around in a park looking lost

Deciding that tree that you know wasn't there last time you where in the park is a great place for a nap

Look depressed

You could set it up with an Affini friend, have them hunt you down, and yoink you and their prize a new floret

Walk into objects too many times and make yourself as clumsy as you can

Tips for not getting yoinked by an Affini

Stay away from parks they could be anywhere just waiting to yoink you and make you a pet. The park is especially dangerous as they blend in better, making it easier for you not to see them coming

Always be aware they could be anywhere just waiting to yoink you

Make sure it's not too obvious you are watching any Affini around you they might mistaking it for jealousy and yoink you

Don't stare at Florets. This just gives a reason for them to yoink you

And five this is the greatest tip I can give it is - *sounds of getting yoinked*

Ok, for the like 4 people who like what I write, I am putting out a timeline of a few things i want to get done before the end of August writings wise

1 rework friends to the end and release a few more chapters

2 release a second multi chapter story

3 compile the various micro fics i have written and plan to write and do something with them (maybe compile with the characters' meeting or something
