So you know how Gerbo is clearly a stylized spider, and Hoppo is pretty accurate grasshopper?

Side by side, its like a gradient of stylized bugs (excluding Joe and Thomas)

Bugbo doesn’t look like any actual bug, as he doesn’t have any noticeable features. If he were an ant, he is missing the mandibles and the two extra legs. If he were a cockroach (which is my guess) he would be missing his wings.

I don’t think Bugbo is natural in this world. He feels uncanny in his ability to stop the world around him in his “WWGJD?” segments, while when Gerbo does it the world keeps moving.

along with morphing Thomas to his location and then just gliding up to Gerbo and Gradient Joe.
