I can imagine Vox's assistant with one of two names, and that is it. One is ofc Papermint, which would only possibly be canon if Vivienne didn't have a name for him in mind before the fandom had a chance to react to him in season 1. The other option is purely vibe based and it's Benjamin. In my mind, either this guy has the most random odd name in the world or a basic white guy name. There is no in between.
#its gonna be so weird once he has a canon name and i have to readjust to it once again#hazbin hotel#vox#vox's assistant#papermint#hazbin hotel headcanon

I've been duel-hyperfixating on Epic: The Musical alongside Hazbin Hotel recently and usually I'd be making it the Hazbin fandom's problem by creating an AU. So just know y'all are lucky idk how an Epic AU would work because if I did I'd be using that shit for evil-
Oh and speaking of AUs, Hazbin Unus Annus AU should be returning soon :)

I cannot for the life of me find more good examples (God forbid Google or Tumblr understands what I'm looking for) but here's a couple I could find from a few searches (one drunk, one gesture seen as romantic), that I made sure were in fact Radiosilence and not the two-sided version. Make sure to read the full post for context for the drunk one. I'll update if I can find the ones I had in mind while making the original post-
Also a bonus that idk if it counts, but it's my post and I say it's close enough
One of my favorite genres of Radiostatic/silence fanart is when both of their faces are red, but it’s clear it’s for very different reasons. Specifically, where Vox is completely head over heels, while Alastor is just drunk out of his mind.
Both of them are assuming the same of the other.
Both are wrong.

Hazbin Archangel Ideas
Made a post a while ago that idk if anyone actually saw, but it mentioned how I think the figures shown in More Than Anything represent the Archangels of Heaven. If you're curious or just want context to this post, here's a link to the original one I made: https://www.tumblr.com/platonically-loving-alastor/748217990826360832/ive-spent-so-much-time-thinking-about-this?source=share
A couple opinions of mine have changed since then (as you'll see), but overall I still like that theory and hope we get light shed on it in a future season. Anyway, in that post, I mentioned that I had picrew designs made of the Archangels I mentioned and I might post them. Well, that post got very few notes and I ended up forgetting about it. But I went back and thought I'd share them now (+1 I swapped out since learning Azrael is apparently an Archangel and I think he's more important than who I had him replace).
For reference, this is how I depicted Lucifer in this picrew (although I just realized I made this picrew when I headcanoned him as bi, I currently don't have a solid sexuality headcanon for him):
Michael:
Raphael:
Gabriel:
Uriel:
Azrael (replacing Camael):
Jophiel (I couldn't decide whether I liked the long or short hair better, so just imagine she goes through Character Development TM and cuts it or something):
Zadkiel:
Maybe I'll make another post once I figure out more headcanons for them, who knows 🤷
#question: why does google docs make copying images such a pain in the ass?#hazbin hotel#lucifer morningstar#hazbin hotel headcanons#hazbin hotel ocs?#kinda?#archangels#picrew

I feel like the people who say RadioSilence is boring have only been exposed to the 'Vox loved him and Alastor didn't give a shit about him' form of it. Because as someone invested in the ship, it is very much not boring if you think of it in any other way.
#i also dont like that characterization of alastor#it feels weirdly villainizing and also ignorant to his multiple canon friendships#ofc he'd care about it he just lost a close friend because said friend had romantic intentions he couldnt reciprocate#hazbin hotel#alastor#vox#radiosilence#onewaybroadcast

AppleTV
Istg every time I see Lucifer x Vox art on Pinterest, there's always gotta be someone hating on it for zero reason. They're cute and they're bonding over their creature obsessions, leave them be!
Genuinely tempted to get back into writing fanfic, just to make StaticApple content out of spite
#“a ship that is doing no harm whatsoever? disgusting”#wouldn't be surprised if they're dissing this while shipping RadioApple instead#sorry this is half a rant post and half a warning of what may be to come on my blog (cute Vox x Luci things)#hazbin hotel#lucifer morningstar#vox#staticapple#vox x lucifer

Hazbin Hotel Season 2 Bingo
I've never made a fandom bingo card before, but I've just had so many ideas over the past few months about things I'd like to see, I decided to make my first one!

Context for a couple of them in case you're curious-
RadioApple rivalry chaos in the hotel - I just want it to be clear that no, I do not mean this in the shipping sense, I used the ship name purely for spacing reasons.
StaticMoth being a couple - It's confirmed they're in an on and off relationship, but all we've seen so far is sexual tension, a celebratory dance, and whatever happened in Episode 2. If they're gonna be a couple, I wanna see them being romantic. Idc if it's in current times or a flashback, just something to show they do care about each other in some way.
Charlie meets Vox - I've seen a bunch of content of them and even though (unless he at some point, probably not season 2, joins the hotel) their relationship won't be a friendship like I've seen, I think it would at least be very entertaining to have them in the same room together.
Vox/Alastor fight parallels - I've been thinking about how this season could come to a satisfying conclusion (Killing Vox, one of the most important Vees members, off already in Season 2 doesn't feel right, and him joining the hotel just as early definitely doesn't feel right) and I honestly would love if they had a parallel to how their fight went in the past. Do we actually know how it went back then? No, not explicitly. But I'm in the camp that based on Vox's reaction to Val's "when he almost beat you that time", it probably didn't mean Vox won, and I assume instead that either he ran off, and/or Alastor purposely let him get away (we don't know when their friendship ended or when the fight happened, he might've still cared about Vox enough to not want to kill him). I think it would be super cool to see that happen in flashback form, and then have a final battle between the two where it goes in the opposite direction. Vox really had gained the upper hand while Alastor was gone and he's about to win. But, whether it's from remembering how he was spared last time, or just generally remembering their past relationship (platonic or his romantic feelings), he can't bring himself to finish the job, and lets Alastor go... Can you tell how much I've been thinking about this-?
#idk if anyones made one of these yet#hazbin hotel#alastor#angel dust#charlie morningstar#staticmoth#radiosilence#the vees

At this point in the fandom, if Vivienne didn't already have a name in mind for Vox's assistant, I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if when season 2 starts, she confirms it to be Papermint
#its either gonna be that or some basic human name#adding it to my hazbin season 2 bingo card#hazbin hotel#vox#papermint

Yeah that is also a possibility. I've always just imagined that the 'pulling themselves together' is respawning, like if they got fatally injured, in which case Vox's antenna wouldn't be enough to make something like that happen. But now that you mention it we've never had in-series confirmation that's what it means, unless I'm forgetting something. Though, I do think it would be a little odd if Alastor's power had the ability to do damage as permanent of as angelic steel even if it was used for something minimal.
Anyway, now I'm just picturing how the hell that would work, trying to replace his head without removing his antenna- Vox's weird half-mechanical anatomy is always fun to theorize about lol
Vox's Antenna Theory/Headcanon Idea
I thought of something that I haven't really heard anyone else talk about before- We all know by now about Vox's broken/bent antenna, and that there was a point where it wasn't like that (as shown in the background photo of him and Valentino). The thing is, Vox is fully capable of replacing his head. We know this, again from the photo in episode 2 of him with a CRT television head. He can and has replaced his head to fit with more modern times. If he can replace his entire head presumably whenever he wants, he can certainly replace the antenna as well. So, if something happened to one of his antenna, even if it doesn't affect his working performance, he'd surely want to swap it out for a working one. His public image is obviously important to him, after all, especially in the physical sense.
So why wouldn't Vox, entertainer and manipulator of the public through visual means, do exactly that? Why go through the trouble of replacing his head but not the little things on top of it? Well, a popular idea of what happened to his antenna in the first place is that it got bent in his fight with Alastor (and that may be the same reason for Val's broken antenna as well). While Valentino is incapable of fixing his problem, Vox was apparently just uninterested in fixing his own. This was Alastor's doing and, sure, he hated that. He hated that he was shown up by his rival. He hated that his old friend, someone who he still admired, could do that to him without a second thought. But on the other hand, it's a reminder of a time Alastor would give him any sort of attention, even if it was in a negative context, compared to how Alastor now will hardly give him the time of day and treats his feud with Vox as a minor inconvenience more than a legitimate threat (based on what we've seen so far, how much of it is genuine is another question). TLDR: Alastor: *breaks Vox's antenna in the fight*
Vox, lovestruck: I'm never replacing this antenna again
