I keep forgetting to update this when I'm working on or have made something but here's some pictures! Including the worst photo of a balrog

I love it!

Hm. Bad color bleed. And the yarn doesn't feel very nice after washing/blocking. It wasn't cheap either. I should have done a swatch with all the colors and blocked it, I've had bad luck with bright colors like this before.
Anyway, the yarn is Julie Asselin Leizu fingering if you want to avoid it. The scarf looks nice otherwise, I'll post glamour shots once I've sewn the ends in.

I'm finished with my new favorite cardigan. It's so comfy!
It's an amalgamation of several patterns: the shape of Shusui Shrug by Susanne Sommer, the brioche sections patterned like Myriad by Cate Carter-Evans and the garter sections based roughly on Turning roads shawl by Raina Knuus.

I didn't make a ton of Christmas gifts but I'm happy with the ones I did! The antler toque was super fun and I loved the produce bags as well!

Three shades of gray and a little whales road to knit away on a steamy 98 degree day!
The pattern is Josue’s Hat (available on ravelry) and the yarns are all Malabrigo Rios, leftover from other projects

Still haven't finished with the bias plaid wrap but it's much longer! Got bitten by the sock bug though so my friend and I are knitting socks together with the same colorway. So far I'm loving them!

The Wedding Dress
Update The 2nd - I debated putting this in the original post but honestly its getting way too long so new post!
I have blocked the skirt! And she was big, measuring about 1.95 - 2m in diameter:

Yes, that is hanging on the wall in my halfway - that was the only place I could leave her safely away from my toddler for the 3 days it took to dry. I'm am still working out a way of blocking the bodice and hanging the entire thing back up to dry without the weight of the skirt dragging everything down while it's damp. Most likely i'll stuff the skirt into a laundry bag and suspend it underneath somehow. Previously the skirt hit me right under the knee but post-blocking it sits low to mid-calf length:

I have yet to finish the underdress, it's happening, I'm just really not keen on cutting pattern pieces recently.

Love these!

Socks with sea creatures on them? Sure, why not? I have so many odds and ends of yarn left from other projects. Stranded socks are perfect for using them up.
I might make some Halloween socks when I finish my second sea creatures sock 🤔

It's been a bit but my fiancee and I finally did our move and have sort of settled in. We still have a lot of unpacking but in the meantime I've also been working on a simple garter stitch triangle shawl for myself

This photo is before weaving in all the ends, but the baby blanket survived the washer and dryer! Now it's ready to be gifted
