i have some friends that also receive a lot of hate (racism and transphobia usually) and what theyve done is make a private alt blog for their mutuals only and then when they need to step away from their main they can switch blogs to the chiller, more positive one for a few days. you can password protect it to keep away the trolls and it can be a little safe haven for you and your friends if you think it would help to step away for a while sometimes. im sorry you have to deal with so many assholes, you don't deserve it💙💙💙
I appreciate you. I've considered the idea, and I completely support anyone who does it! But... I'm not gonna do it 😅 This blog is kind of my last line in the sand, tbh.
I've already pretty much pulled back from most of my fan spaces to avoid the overall risk of having to see shit that's just gonna upset me. And that hurts me deeply, having to choose between maintaining my peace or being a part of a community of stuff that I deserve to enjoy too.
Why should I have to hide even further? Why should I have to shrink further when you got these gigantic blogs who spout blatant racism and post whitewashed art and keke their terrible takes (political and more) amongst each other, uninhibited by followers and friends who won't do shit about it? Why should I have to go anywhere when I'm not the one in the wrong?
If I gotta experience it, if y'all gone keep doing it, y'all gone have to hear me bitch about it 🤷🏾♀️ it sounds silly but it's pride, I guess.

Book 2 au: sparring sessions and short hair katara
They like to have sparring sessions in order to keep their bending skills sharp. They allow themselves to go all out and not hold back at all cause they know if anyone got hurt, Katara could just heal them
But anyways, wouldn't it be kinda funny if Zuko accidentally burned Katara's hair tho? Aofkqldkkajfjd
The "I think we can save the hairloops" line is from @linnoya-writes thank you for that!! :>>

blah blah blah aging tumblr population etc etc if you are ever visiting a family that just had a baby, and you know that they have other small children, bring a little something for each of the other kids. it doesn’t have to be anything fancy but, even the most charitable, well-behaved child starts feeling left out and lonely after the nth visitor brings gifts and attention for their parents and new sibling and, either isn’t there for them at all or the only engage with them about their baby sibling, especially since their parents have probably been completely consumed with the new baby. make their day and they will remember that bit of kindness and attention from you forever.

I’m sorry but it’s absolutely hilarious and yet adorable how the series handles Broppy’s relationship. First we get them traveling together as rivals (which was a bit more one- sided on Branch’s part) before slowing learning how to work together and to change for the other. Also it’s heavily implied Branch has an underline crush on Poppy. Then we get True Colors, and everyone thinks “okay they’re in love now”.
Some people/audience members are on board, others not so much. BUT THEN it turns out that the “I love you” they say to each other was a PLATONIC love confession. Like “you’re my friend, and I value you.” Which is still sweet, but was unexpected. (Though it does explain why the writers decided to put another platonic love confession scene between Bridget and Poppy. Yeah, I get it now)
So they just go through the journey as bffs who have feelings for each other but won’t say anything. And again, they learn how to work and grow together as a team and make the necessary changes to benefit the other. And then FINALLY we get the romantic love confession.
But it doesn’t stop there, oh no. Now we get adventure #3, this time with them as a full on couple. And they are actually really cute. Actually the film doesn’t focus that much on their relationship but we see hints of how they are as a couple.
Poppy is still all over the place but she’s much less in her own head and far more open to listening and being a good girlfriend.
Branch on the other hand is still occasionally getting exasperated by her energy but this time also has an appreciation for it. Also he learns to open up to her a little more and she’s there to listen and accept him with open arms. (Bonus points to their flirty dynamic because wow. They were adorable here.)
And it’s ONLY THEN (7 years after the first film) when they get their first on screen kiss.
Anyway. In conclusion: Trolls is the slowest slow burn I have ever seen in a Dreamworks trilogy.

JK Rowling: Harry Potter is 100% heterosexual.
Harry in book 6:
Meticulously catalogues Tom Riddle's evolving level of hotness in each memory he watches
Gets so distracted by seeing Draco Malfoy changing that he gets hit on the head by a piece of luggage
Is deeply horrified that large numbers of girls are interested in him, doesn't even consider dating any of them, and goes to great lengths to avoid them
