Some of your books make it seems like you believe in actual literal magic, do you? ()

I can write down a few words and make people thousands of miles away, whom I have never met and will never meet, laugh tears of joy and cry tears of true sorrow for people who do not exist and have never existed and never will exist. If that isn't actual literal magic I don't know what is.

if you write a character who loses everything, let them find something.

if you write a reluctant hero, give them a reason to fight.

You are allowed to like your own writing. You wrote it, it's tailored to yourself, you should enjoy it. You took plain words and put them in a beautiful order to create an awesome story. Beat that imposter syndrome and be proud.

I'm always caught between "wanting to draw certain scenes in a fanfic I just read" vs "being unsure if fanfic writers welcome unsolicited art" vs "too socially inept to ask them" so I'm just stuck with random doodles I never bother to post
