I burned my hand very badly and can't afford to treat it. The entire back of my left hand has an open burn wound.

I don't have money for bandages or antibiotics (I am anaphylactically allergic to Sulfates so I have to get the more expensive Sulfate-free brand). I'm certain if I cannot treat it that it will be infected.

Any help, even an RB, would be greatly appreciated!

Today was unlike any other.

We received a few donations and with them, we had our first real meal in over a month. For the first time in so long, we didn’t go to sleep hungry. We cried, not from pain this time, but from overwhelming joy and gratitude.

As a Guardian, Batecho takes pride in the fact that not every cat can look over the camp like he can. Responsible for repairing any leaks in roofs or tiding up any nests. Batecho is the perfect Guardian that the clan could ask for. Also specialized in making honors, Batecho hopes that one day he may be able to craft his kits honors of their own. Batecho often worries for his eldest son Chickadeepaw, the tom was born seemingly shorter than most cats. And given the territories dangerously deep mucky waters, he fears that Chickadeepaw may find himself drowning one day. The father in him made him wink and nudge at the idea of Chickadee being a camp Guardian like himself. But not wanting to force anything on him, and knowing his son truly wanted to be a warrior, he let him leave the nest.

He is much less worried for his second litter, given their close proximity. Though Batecho is not much practiced in the kit care side of Guardian, the job still leaves him right around the corner at anytime, to keep a close watch on the mischievous bunch that are his children.

She is also (any of) the clans' first introduced (for this blog anyways) patron saint! Chrysalis is the Garlicclan patron saint of wayward souls and visions. When a Garlicclan member is experiencing a tough time, or worse, is lost away from home, Chrysalis is the cat they seek guidance from. She is also often highly favored by the more superstitious senior clerics and their younger, budding trainees after their first experience with spirits. It is considered good luck to offer gifts to her shrine at her resting place in the clan graveyard before young clerics go to the clan's connection place to receive their full name. Cats may also offer her gifts for the previously stated reasons. For those away from the territory, they may choose to make a temporary stand-in shrine wherever they may be to still be able to offer to her.

I lost my baby after 6 months of hope… No words can describe the pain 💔💔

I share this update with a heart weighed down by sorrow and heartbreak…

We are still living in the heart of catastrophe. Ongoing starvation, fear, and the lack of safety have destroyed what remains of our humanity. We lost our home, our jobs, our dreams… we lost the life we once knew!

I lost my baby after six months of pregnancy. Six months during which I awaited his birth as a sole beacon of hope amid death and destruction. I held onto him as a symbol of a new beginning… but he left before seeing the light of day. 💔😭

The miscarriage was difficult and painful. My body could no longer endure. I became unable to move, and my health has sharply deteriorated. My heart tears apart every moment I remember that I lost my baby…🥹

My family and I are now suffering from severe malnutrition. We’ve lost a great deal of weight and can no longer find anything to satisfy our hunger. We need flour, basic foods, nutritional supplements, and urgent medicines so I can regain my strength and care for my child and family who are still alive and struggling every day to survive.

I know you have never hesitated to help, and you have always been a symbol of humanity. But today I write to you with the last strength I have left… because my life and the lives of my family are in your hands.

Your support now means life for us… it means we have not been forgotten in this hell.

From the depths of my heart, Please not leave us alone in these moments.
